Hello Everyone! It's been awhile!

It has been about a month since I last created fan art here in Holozing. Now that I have some free time, I thought I would start drawing again and continue my personal project of making chibi versions of all the characters in Holozing.

I’ve been really into this version of the Female Ocean Healer ever since she came out. Drawing her is quite a challenge, so I haven't drawn her just yet. Of course, today, I have decided to face it since I thought of achieving one of my self-projects by doing a chibi version of the Holozings character. I’m going to share why I find it hard to work with her in the blog.

As I was sketching, I thought about what creature would go well with Ocean Healer, and while scrolling through the resources of the holozing discord channel, I landed on the ermine. I think she's a perfect match because they have similar colors. It made me wonder if the animators noticed this too. If they did, it shows they’re really paying attention to the details, and if it’s just a coincidence, it still fits perfectly!

DRAWING PROCESS

In my previous blog, I mentioned that when I create a clean sketch, it signifies that I’ve had a good night’s sleep~ and today I did! 😆 Although my body clock is a bit inconsistent, I still manage to get 8 to 10 hours of sleep. Thank you sleep for a good sketch outcome hahaha I also mentioned in my last fan art that I need to change my line art brush, but I'm still using the same one though because I still can't find a replacement, if you guys have any suggestions tell me in the comments.

I wanted to share why I find her hard to draw or more like to color. It's because her hair has gliter effects or sparkles that are hard to achieve, if you compare this to the reference you'll know why I find it hard hahaha so you know, it took me a lot of time experimenting on it but then I found a solution that I can work on a similar outcome.

if you ask me why this gesture and why ermine has that sparkle and proud expression, I thought that ermine is a classy zing creature, and this version of ocean healer is somewhat the same, both social and proud ~

TIMELAPSE DRAWING

Here’s the timelapse drawing, in which you can see me selecting a perfect zing creature for this version of Ocean Healer and how I struggled with her hair. But all in all, it turned out great! And I'm happy with the outcome, while drawing this today I thought how I miss drawing digital art again.
