Hello, Holozing community, I'm back here to show you my new fanart, this time dedicated to Waller, the evolution of Water Whale. This whale looks like a warrior to me, unlike Whale, who seems more tender in terms of physical appearance.

A few months ago I embroidered Whale; it was my first Holozing character embroidery. I chose her because I thought it was the easiest to start all these fanarts with. Today I'm showing you her evolution, which I also found easy, since it has few colors and they're all the same. Luckily for me, I had skeins of these shades left, so I didn't have any trouble. I did it in just one afternoon while watching my Turkish soap operas 😄. I hope you like it. Below, I'll show you all the necessary materials and the step-by-step creative process.

Hola, comunidad de Holozing, otra vez me encuentro por aquí para mostrarles mi nuevo fanart, en esta ocasión dedicado a Waller, la evolución, de Water Whale. Esta ballena tiene un aspecto a mi parecer como de guerrera, a diferencia de Whale que me parece más tierna en cuanto a aspecto físico me refiero.

Hace algunos meses que bordé a Whale, fue mi primer bordado de los personajes de Holozing. La escogí porque me pareció el más fácil para comenzar todos estos fanart. Hoy les muestro a su evolución, que de igual forma me pareció fácil, ya que cuenta con pocos colores, además de ser los mismos. Para mi suerte, me quedaban madejas de estos tonos, así que no tuve ningún inconveniente, lo hice en solo una tarde mientras veía mis novelas turcas 😄. Espero que les guste. A continuación, les muestro todos los materiales necesarios y el paso a paso del proceso creativo.

🐳Step by step // Paso a paso🐳

To begin, as always, I draw the character on a sheet of paper, as it's much easier to transfer it to the fabric with carbon paper than to draw it directly on the fabric, as there's a risk of ruining the fabric if we make a mistake. For this reason, I always do it this way, as it's one of the best techniques I know for transferring and getting good results. When I'm finished, I go over all the lines with a pen for better visibility and then place the fabric stretched tightly on the frame.

Para comenzar como siempre en una hoja de papel dibujo el personaje, ya que es mucho más fácil transferirlo a la tela con ayuda de un papel carbón que dibujarlo directamente en la tela, pues se correría el riesgo de echar a perder la tela si nos equivocamos. Por esta razón siempre lo hago de esta forma, pues es una de las mejores técnicas que conozco para hacer la transferencia y obtener buenos resultados. Al terminar, repaso todas las líneas con un bolígrafo para obtener más visibilidad y luego coloco la tela bien estirada en el bastidor.

I began embroidering with the black thread. I used this to create the entire silhouette of the character, outlining all of its parts. Otherwise, since it's almost entirely the same color, the fins wouldn't be visible. To do this, I used the finest magic needle, so I only used three strands of thread, so I would get thinner lines.

Comencé a bordar con el hilo de color negro. Con este hice toda la silueta del personaje para delinear todas sus partes, pues de lo contrario, como es casi totalmente del mismo color, no se apreciarían bien las aletas de este. Para ello utilicé la aguja mágica más fina, por lo que usé solo tres hebras de hilo, así me quedarían líneas más delgadas.

For the lower and upper eyebrows, I used a light color like beige, the closest I had to the character's skin tone. I used three strands of thread for this step.

Para la parte inferior y encima de la ceja utilicé un color claro como beich, el más parecido que tenía al tono del personaje. Utilicé tres hebras de hilo en este paso.

With the pink and white colors I made the eyes and the mouth, I also used three strands of thread, since the space was quite small, just a few stitches in this part.

Con los colores rosa y blanco hice los ojos y la boca, de igual forma utilicé tres hebras de hilo, ya que el espacio era bastante reducido, solo pocas puntadas en esta parte.

To finish, it was time to fill in the entire leather with a navy blue hue. Since this is the widest part, representing almost the majority of the work, I used the six strands of yarn from the skein and a thicker needle. This way, I could finish in less time and achieve a more pronounced texture.

Para culminar llegó el momento de rellenar toda la piel, con un tono azul marino. Como este es la parte más amplia que representa casi la mayoría, utilicé las 6 hebras de hilo de la madeja y una aguja más gruesa, así conseguiría terminar en menor tiempo y obtener una textura más pronunciada.
