Last month I got a black and white piece of my family watching a sunrise. Which carries a lot of emotional value to me. I was very happy with the initial result - that had healed quite oke!

We agreed not to overdo the white highlights at the first session but wait for it to heal so we can see how well it sticked and what would be a nice additional touch. While the piece was healing I also noticed that there were some small areas where the (black) ink was a bit lighter.
At the session today we did the silhouettes another time rather than just the lighter spots - furthermore we added quite some white highlights near the bottem of the waves, which should provide some depth when it heals up!
Today’s session was roughly 45 min, in which we took some photos and had a chat and finetuned the piece.
Like the last session no pain at all. Great experience and I can understand why it can be addicting aswell haha!
Declan refused any payment for the tune up session today - so total for the 2 sessions is €300,- which was much lower than I would expected!
It's great that you had your tattoo touched up, and that they won't charge you anything for the improvements. It looks very nice.😉
How nice that it healed perfectly, and you were able to get back in the tattoo artist's chair to add the details.
That's when we see that just one extra touch can change the whole design.
