In this post, we get to know Bren Palesworn, one of the Legendary cards from Conclave Arcana.
T(Lore)DR:
✅ Bren is part of the Riftwatchers (i.e. he's a "good guy")
✅ He trains dominions across Praetoria, on behalf of the Riftwatchers, to fight the Conclave Arcana
✅ Bren is a shapeshifter who can appear as many different things - a Dwarf, an Orc, an Elf...
✅ When shapeshifting, Bren can take on some of the powers of the dominions he's imitating
T(Learn)DR:
✅ Bren's Shapeshift ability works great with Dominion summoners as well as any card with Bloodline Tribute
✅ His double-attach & True Strike makes him great EVEN if he's not used as a Weapons Trainer
✅ To get the best value from Weapons Training, either use it in a ruleset that enables Melee to attack from anywhere (for the trained units) or put that unit in the 2nd spot with a Flank unit in the front
✅ He's squishy (low health) so is susceptible to Thorns; consider putting a unit with Deflection Shroud next to him (Fizbo or the Umbral Elemental)
Visual Lore
Not a hero. Not a general. A ghost. A shadow slipping among the splinters, training the few who were willing to stand against the conclave.
To the dwarves of Grimbardun, he appeared as a dwarf with a long beard and a thirst for ale, and he trained them to withstand the fires of Oridum.
To the orcs of Duratuk, he came with tusks and rage, training them to weather Jicarilla’s floods.
And so it went—with the elves of Thanaloria, the gnomes of Nimbledook, and the ulund of Ulundin. Each saw one of their own. And each learned what they needed to survive the magics of the Conclave Arcana.
When he left, he left no trail. No trace. Only skill enough to endure, and a single message whispered across five splinters:
“Hold the line. The mage wagons will come.”

cool card, a bit of glass canon though.
Excellent write up.
By the way, I am sure this is HTML formatting. Could you do a post on how to do it? I think it will help not only the SL community, but also greater hive community.
Thanks AZ :)
This particular post has fairly simple formatting and nearly no HTML. Happy to do a post to share some formatting tips though which I use in some of my posts.
Do you have particular things you find quite useful that you think I should call out once I do?
Yes, the who emoji bullet and table of contents thing with links inside and outside the article. I think people will find value in it.
