My Splinterlands Goals for 2026

I know the year hasn't come to a close yet but as part of the Splinterlands community challenge its time to start planning how I approach next year in Splinterlands and setting goals and targets for the year is a great way to see where i want to be.

2025 has been an amazing year in Splinterlands, the team has added some great features from frontier mode to avatars and exemplars, and produced a massive number of awesome cards in Conclave Arcana and the rewards sets as well as added the chase of Gold Foil Arcanes, Black Foils and Black Foil Arcanes that have meant I have totally spread myself too thin in Praetoria!

I know the ecosystem is a place where you can’t have everything but it doesn’t mean I haven’t tried…

I have spent more time on this game than any other game I have played in the past I have particularly enjoyed the free to play frontier mode but I need to try and concentrate my time on certain areas of the game, which brings us to the first goal of 2026.

Gold Foil Frontier

I’ve been working on my frontier deck since the launch of the mode and have been playing 3 accounts there, I have a max regular foil on my 2nd account but my target of a gold foil deck in frontier is close to fulfilment. The problem is I’ve won a gold foil arcane and they look sooo nice…. Oops, there’s that trying to get everything again!

I expect the team will expand the Foundation set by adding new cards over the next year so this could be a moving target but none the less.

Goal 1 for 2026: Complete Gold Foil Frontier Deck

Land Baron

My land journey in Praetoria has been up and down, I think I am now heading on the right track, the purchase of a Keep during the year was one of my biggest outlays on a game ever and I have slowly bought all my land in that tract online and I’m sure the teams target or working towards land 2.0 in 2026 will push others in the region to work their land (or sell it on). I will be reinvesting all earnings from land back into it and firstly working towards an Aura plant then adding to my 34 plots and activating them one by one.

Goal 2 for 2026: Own 50 Land Plots

Just Get Better…

My final goal of 2026 is a little more broad and i probably should break this down a little and explain.

I am a competitive person by nature but sometimes i have really bad luck - or perhaps, more likely, I'm just need to improve at the game!

My intention this year is to improve my results in tournaments, of course to show improvement I need to track my results so I’ll be recording all tournaments in a spreadsheet and see how my records improve over the year.

This also needs me to be thinking about what tournaments I enter, my current deck is just about Silver level so I will be entering all events up to Intermediate level for the next year unless I can really expand my collection in some way.

But the real goal is to create a site to track my, or others, tournament results by using the Splinterlands API and teach my self about the coding required to do this.

Goal 3 for 2026: Create a site to track tournament results and show historical performance.

Thanks for reading, let me know what your goals are for 2026 in Splinterlands.

These are some great goals and my own are very similar. Very excited to see what is coming to land and guilds in 2026. Great List DoomBot and GL in 2026. Cheers.

Yeah, looking forward to seeing how the guild rework goes and how important Exemplar’s will be.

Good luck with your goals in 2026 and be great to watch the progress on Twitchs

Man you’ve put down some solid goals for this year… still a bit jealous on that keep 😄!

But the real goal is to create a site to track my, or others, tournament results by using the Splinterlands API and teach myself about the coding required to do this.

I don’t know your current programming level (or which language you want to build it in), but if you run into questions, feel free to hit me up.

One tip if you’re open to it: I love using GitHub Copilot when learning/building. It’s great when you’re stuck, or when you just want it to crank out the “plumbing” code so you can focus on the logic and tweak things your way. (10$ per month or 100$ for a year, I found definitely worth it at this moment)

…just don’t blindly trust the AI 😆

Thanks for the tip, sounds like a decent investment to get a little help on the coding, I’ll be sure to ask for help if i get stuck!
