Splinterlands | CAVEWISE WAYFINDER can Defend against all 3 types of attacks

I hope all of you are doing well in life and hopefully have made a solid plan to enjoy the weekend with your friends and family. For splinterlands players, however, a fresh new ranked season has already started, and players from all around the world have jumped into the battlefield with their arsenal of monsters. If we take a look at the season clock at current, it still has 11 days and 19 hours time left before meeting the end, so all of you get plenty of time to reach your seasonal goals while earning some SPS and Glint tokens while enjoying the journey. Since the release of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card set, a lot of new cards and abilities have been introduced in the game, which has, of course, changed the way players used to play the game, at least in modern format. Right now, all the players are busy and brainstorming to come out with unique and strong strategies and battle lineups to tackle their opponents and climb up that trophy ladder faster and if you are also one of them, then all the best, my friend and I hope you reach your goal sooner this time and with ease.

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today I have again come with another eye-catching monster card from the latest Conclave Arcana edition, which I am about to showcase to all of you. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Cavewise Wayfinder. So, if you are interested and want to know more about this monster, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

CAVEWISE WAYFINDER

The Cavewise Wayfinder is a monster type card that was first introduced in splinterlands with the introduction of Conclave Arcana edition cards. This monster belongs to the Fire element and comes from the Gnome bloodline. This monster card is of Common rarity, so you would need a total of 400 BCX cards to upgrade it to max level. It costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so you can choose this card in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Melee. Apart from a decent melee attack power and speed, it also comes with a large health + armour combo, which helps it to consume multiple attacks before going down. Not only that. This monster carries a whopping 4 abilities at its max level, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look at this monster’s stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 3, this monster card possesses 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 8 health. Now, apart from the large stats from its initial level, one more thing that this monster receives is the combo of 2 abilities - Reckless and Ambush, both of which it gets from the first level. So, even at bronze league level, this monster becomes a choice of heavy duty, where its large health bar and armour on top of it will protect you from all 3 types of attack, while it will bring decent damage onto enemy cards with its attack power and abilities together.

RECKLESS - Monster with this ability after each successful attack also deals 1 damage to adjacent allied units.

AMBUSH - Monsters with this ability take an extra turn prior to the first round of the battle.

SILVER

When this monster gets upgraded further to level 5, even there also, it receives the same stats as its previous level - 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 8 health. However, though it carries literally the same numbers in stats, it does get a new ability at this level called Void. So now, the monster suddenly becomes an anti-magic card and has great usability to be used against magic monsters.

VOID - 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

GOLD

As you upgrade this monster further to level 8, its stats finally get some promotion, because now it flaunts 3 melee attack power at 4 speed with 4 speed and 10 health. Though it still carries the same 3 abilities that I mentioned above and doesn't get anything new, the increased stats will surely help it on the battlefield.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, its stats get increased further to 4 melee attack power, 4 speed with 4 armour and 11 health. Not only that, but it also receives another new ability called Engage at this level. So by the time it gets upgraded to max level, its stats really look bugged up, along with 4 freaking abilities attached to it, which definitely justifies its mana cost.

ENRAGE - +50% melee attack power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health.

Last but not least, while its large health + armour combo will protect it from all 3 different kinds of attack, its decent attack power and speed will also help you to launch deadly attacks faster. Now on top, we have got 4 abilities with this card along which, the Enrage will buff up its attack and speed stats if it gets wounded, the Void ability will reduce damages it receive from magic attacks, Reckless will help it to attack adjacent cards of the targeted enemy while the Ambush will give it a solid chance to launch an attack even before the first round starts. So overall, it is definitely a champion card and I think it does deserve a place in your card arsenal. What do you think?
