Time flies! Just completed the 205th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 9 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 5th!
So for the final result, we were 9th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 11 SPS! Ouch!
Individually, I had 9 fights this time and I won 7 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were no additional wins for me.
Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato
Delwyn Dragonscale's boost was awesome for my Magic lineup. Coupled with Blast ruleset, the effects were massive and I was more superior in terms of damage output. Venator Kinjo also played a crucial role in blocking the Blast damage.

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato
Tricky tricky matchup! Both teams opted for the Martyr boost to the Gladius card but Larissa Kerato was much stronger than the opposing Isgald Vorst, as you would expect. After all, it's a Legendary Gladius card. A quick 15 mana battle with 1 HP separating both sides. What a close shave!

Battle 3 - WIN
Opponent fled! Free win!
Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Gorth
Yet another low mana battle. This time I opted for Gorth, which is an expert in 1 vs 1 battles and once again, even though it was pretty close, I managed to squeeze out another win. Gorth continues to impress in these low mana fights.

Battle 5 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Sarius
Faced with a Legendary summoner and a Legendary Gladius card, my team was totally no match against my opponent. The opposing summoner practically nerfed my entire team and the opposing Gladius was just too strong in this battle which had a restrictive ruleset. These are the battles where we live to fight another day and move on.

Battle 6 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Flagulon Reine
I remembered saying in my last brawl that Alric Stormbringer's lineups are really tough to handle and this battle showed exactly why this was the case. I had 3 Legendary cards but the performance just didn't live up to their standards. Probably could have improved my lineup but not sure if I had enough depth to win this though.

Battle 7 - WIN
Opponent fled! Yet another free win! Do players these days just join brawls to test their luck for free wins?
Battle 8 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Liza Fox
Simply WOW! I was very eager to test out this Death Ranged lineup because I have never had the opportunity to field such a lineup, and this turned out to be a perfect 6-0 win! Could never have expected that! These Ranged cards were just so overpowering! Even though my Opportunity hit triggered a Martyr boost for my opponent, the damage output was simply too strong for my opponent!

Battle 9 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato
This was over in 1 round. Probably something went wrong for my opponent as only 2 cards were fielded for a 55 mana battle.
MVP: None (almost like a free win)
So that sums up my 9 battles for this brawl! An 78% win rate this time round, pretty decent for such a difficult brawl.
Review Of Gladius Cards
The Merits are coming in fast and I have enough Merits for my 76th Gladius case! Still no Quora Towershead. Nothing to see here. :(
On the positive note, that's my 5th Captain Katie so she can be merged into Level 2!
