El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este dibujo de un reloj de arena, ⌛ siempre me han gustado los relojes de arena, no sé porqué, pero desde hace tiempo quería aprender a dibujarlos, en mi opinión estos objetos son bastante bonitos, pero además de eso tienen un significado bastante importante, ya que representan el paso del tiempo y la fugacidad de la vida, después de haber desperdiciado mis 20s comencé a valorar más el tiempo y entendí que es un recurso no renovable, en un reloj de arena, cada grano de arena que cae es una fracción de tiempo que ya no se puede recuperar, lo que me recuerda lo inevitable del paso del tiempo y la importancia de aprovecharlo sabiamente si no quiero desperdiciar también mis 30s. 🥰

Today I want to share with you this drawing of an hourglass, ⌛ I've always liked hourglasses, I don't know why, but for a long time I wanted to learn how to draw them, in my opinion these objects are quite beautiful, but besides that they have a very important meaning, as they represent the passing of time and the transience of life, after having wasted my 20s I started to value time more and I understood that it is a non-renewable resource, in an hourglass, each grain of sand that falls is a fraction of time that can no longer be recovered, which reminds me of the inevitability of the passing of time and the importance of using it wisely, if I don't want to waste my 30s as well. 🥰

Es así como este objeto con un significado tan profundo en mi vida, seguramente sera parte de varios de mis dibujos futuros, pero ya sin mas preámbulo los invito a ver el paso a paso de este dibujo.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, vi bellezas en pinterest, pero decidí comenzar con un diseño simple para aprender más o menos las estructura sin complicarme con un diseño tan elaborado, no por el momento.

I started making the sketch, I saw some beauties on pinterest, but I decided to start with a simple design to learn more or less the structure without complicating myself with such an elaborate design, not for the moment.

Con el mismo lápiz con el que hice el boceto, que es un lápiz bastante claro, comencé a definir un poco las zonas de luz y sombra y definir también la arena.

With the same pencil with which I made the sketch, which is a fairly light pencil, I began to define a little the areas of light and shadow and also to define the sand.

Luego con los lápices 4B y 8B comencé a marcar más las sombras, o sea las partes más oscuras del reloj ⌛ dejando completamente en blanco las zonas de luz.

Then with the 4B and 8B pencils I started to mark more the shadows, i.e. the darkest parts of the clock ⌛ leaving the light areas completely white.

Y este fue el resultado, la verdad me gustó mucho como quedo, tengo algunas ideas de dibujos en mi cabeza con este objeto y otros elementos, dibujos que si logro hacer tendrían un significado muy profundo para mí y además me ayudarían mucho a sanar, después de todo para eso es el arte para desahogarnos y sanar, así que me hace mucha ilusión. ❤️‍🩹🥰

And this was the result, I really liked how it turned out, I have some ideas of drawings in my head with this object and other elements, drawings that if I manage to do they would have a very deep meaning for me and they would also help me a lot to heal, after all that's what art is for, to unburden ourselves and heal, so I'm very excited about it. ❤️‍🩹🥰
