• Login with PlainTextKeyProvider to get the signature (no storage)
• Instead of using unpkg.com, we are now using webpack & keeping it within the application

Block Explorer:

• New recurring (incoming/outgoing) card display on the user profile
• Implement a new block-segmented view in user comments and permalink search
• Add the today option on the date picker
• Unify tables across the landing page search results
• Fix the permalink search pagination on the landing page
• Remove the savings balance display from the VESTS option in the mini-chart

Actifit:

Final fixes/tests on upcoming Android release

Team VSC. (@vaultec / @vsc.network)

VSC:

• The first mainnet smart contract was tested yesterday after successful deployment; a few critical bugs were discovered, and we are now working on fixes
• HBD interest claiming has been fixed; pending live testing once the next claim is possible
• Developed a potential fix for another related issue for hbd staking; waiting on further testing and evaluation
• Fixed non-atomic deposits when being bundled with other operations and at a block interval
• Currently working on refactoring how transactions and operations are handled to treat transactions as whole transactions rather than individual operations. Simplifying API and database handling
• Working on UI development to reflect the above change
• Altera now allows for consensus unstaking within the UI

Team Cryptoshots (@gaottantacinque / @crypto-shots)

CRYPTO SHOTS: Game Update v1.19.0

• UI fixes: match scoreboard, web2 login, menu auto-close on death;
• Improvements: auto-report and force-close for hack detection; ammo counters bug/cheat fixed;
• PC: web2 username bugfix, tournament matches/stats/rewards tracking fixes
  Others: CTF Debug UI update and bug root cause discovered.

Team Spiritsurge (@spiritsurge / @astralwars)

Retention data:

• Working on more retention analysis for Hive users.
• Working on onboarder analysis for 2025.
• Deriving an equation to analyse multiple onboard variables and representing them by one variable.

Astral Wars:

• Mobile app optimizations are being worked on using the frame debugger, profiler, and logcat.
• Rehaul the UI code to ensure it works on older Android 6/7 devices.
• Fixing ANRs for Google in-app purchases before making the app live on Google Play.

• Published two podcasts on Deep Web3 Secrets, edited and scheduled three more.

In collaboration with Hive.Pizza:

• Released on-chain notifications for live testing on Moon Season 1
• Fixed key issues with the battle probability engine, and navigated major in-game economic changes due to these fixes.

• A new editor was released along with a bunch of fixes

Ecency Mobile

The new release is pending App Store review. The Play Store release was out yesterday. A new post on what's changed will be published soon.

Hivesearcher

The indexing structure was changed and tried in the testing environment before being plugged into production.

What is Swarm of Swarms?

This is a new series of blogs where we will share updates from the Hive development community. The content consists of meeting notes from a virtual developer meeting, titled 'Swarm of Swarms,' which adheres to the Bee Hive theme. We have been doing this for around 30 weeks, without posting the content on-chain or elsewhere. As we broadcast more widely, I hope everyone can gain greater visibility into all the Hive project development.

The Swarm of Swarms is a virtual gathering where blockchain developers building on the Hive network converge to share project updates, insights, and knowledge. This decentralized meet-up brings together a collective of innovators and visionaries from the Hive ecosystem, specifically those developing applications and use cases on the blockchain. As participants join the Swarm, they are exposed to ideas, solutions, and experiences, allowing them to expand their professional networks and gain a deeper understanding of the rapidly evolving Hive ecosystem. Through this virtual convergence, the Swarm of Swarms aims to cultivate a culture of open communication, mutual support, and collective growth among its members.

I send weekly reminders to the participating development teams, encouraging them to share their progress in the Mattermost 'Swarm of Swarms' channel. Other developers can visit this channel to learn about the projects other teams are working on. The hope is that open communication will inspire more side conversations and collaborations. 👏 I appreciate the development team leaders who take a few minutes each week to share their latest achievements. There is room for more participation, and the coffee is free.
