Hello everyone!!!

I hope you're all doing well or are trying to be well. I'm doing fairly well. Lately, I've been focusing on finishing things I left incomplete before, and I'm quite pleased about it. One of them was to build a fountain to display the dragon egg that Pravesh and I defeated together in Luanti.

I completely demolished the part I had previously prepared and left unfinished. You can see it in the photo below. I wasn’t getting anywhere with it. I was stuck, and to be honest, especially after the Elytra disappointment, my interest had dropped quite a bit.

To be realistic, I admit the previous version looked better, but after getting stuck, working on something simpler seemed more sensible.

This time, I followed a tutorial because, to be honest, I wanted to finish it quickly and get back to my crocheting. You can find the video here. I felt quite relaxed watching it with the background music. I really love that feeling. It calms me down.

After completing the surroundings of the fountain, I used stone brick slabs and walls for a bit of texture. Of course, to add some variety, I also used the cracked versions of all the stones. I think the cracked versions look better than the normal ones. I just wish the mossy cracked ones looked a little better – something wonderful could have come out of that.

When it came to the eyes, I particularly wanted to use two different colours. It’s an aesthetic I really like, and I think it’s quite cool that one of the dragon’s eyes is obsidian and the other is a magma block. That was my goal, and I think I succeeded.

As I stepped back and looked at it from a distance, I started thinking about the area where I would place the egg. Since this detail wasn’t in the video, I improvised a bit. I knew I wanted it to be independent from the ground, and I thought slabs were the solution for that. So, as you can see in the last photo, that’s what I made. I don’t think it looks bad, and it’s probably the best I could do without breaking the aesthetic.

Finally, when I was deciding whether to fill the pool with water or lava, I thought lava would suit a dragon better, so I went with lava. Luckily, I found a lava pool nearby, so I had no issues with that. The final look is as you see above.

To be honest, I’m very pleased with the work I did in such a short time. I was quite surprised it was finished so quickly. Still, at least I’ve completed another unfinished task. Plus, the area won’t need any light sources.

Now that my project is done, I think I’ll tidy up the area a bit and prepare to stay out of the game for a while. I realised I forgot to move my bed from there. I want to check everything one last time and then go back to my crochet projects.

I think that’s all from our dragon fountain. I believe this is the best thing I could do without wearing myself out. Maybe next time I’ll choose something more challenging, but I don’t think anything could ever surpass the castle. We’ll see what happens.

Daha önceden hazırlamış olduğum ve yarım kalan kısmı tamamen yıktım. Aşağıda fotoğrafını görebilirsiniz. Bununla birlikte hiçbir yere varamıyordum. Tıkanıp kalmıştım ve ne yalan söyleyeyim özellikle de Elytra hayal kırıklığından sonra ilgim oldukça azalmıştı.

Gerçekçi olmak gerekirse bir önceki versiyon daha iyi görünüyordu kabul ediyorum ama tıkandıktan sonra daha basit bir şey ile uğraşmak daha mantıklı geldi.

Bu sefer kendimi biraz düşündüğümden dolayı bir tutorial takip ettim açık konuşmak gerekirse çünkü amacım hızlı bir şekilde bitirip örgüme devam etmekti. Videoyu buradan bulabilirsiniz. Videoyu izlerken arka planda çalan müzikle birlikte kendimi oldukça rahatlamış hissediyordum. Gerçekten bu hissi seviyorum. Bana sakinlik veriyor.

Çeşmenin çevresini tamamladıktan sonra biraz doku için stone brick slab ve wall kullandım. Tabii biraz farklılık yaratabilmesi içinde cracked versiyonlarını da kullandım bütün taşların. Bence cracked versiyonları normallerinden daha güzel duruyor. Bir de keşke Mossy Cracked olanlar biraz daha iyi görünseler. Harika bir şey ortaya çıkabilirdi buradan.

Sıra gözlere geldiğinde özellikle farklı iki renk kullanmak istedim. Oldukça beğendiğim bir estetik ve ejderhanın bir gözünün obsidyen ve diğer gözününde magma block olması bence çok havalı. Amacım buydu ve başardığımı düşünüyorum.

Biraz uzağa çekilip baktığımda yumurtayı koyacağım alanı düşünmeye başladım. Videoda bu detay olmadığı için biraz doğaçlama takıldım. Yerden bağımsız olmasını istediğimi biliyordum ve bence bunun için çözüm slab'ti. Bunun içinde son fotoğrafta görebileceğiniz gibi bir şey yaptım. Bence kötü görünmüyor ve estetiğini bozmadan yapabileceğim en iyi şey bu diye düşünüyorum.

Son olarak havuzu su ile mi yoksa lava ile mi doldursam diye düşünürken bir ejderhaya lavanın daha çok yakışacağını düşündüğüm için lavaya karar verdim. Neyse ki bir yerde lava havuzu buldum ve bu konuda sorun yaşamadım. En son hâli yukarıda gördüğünüz gibi.

Ben kısa sürede yaptığım işten çok memnun kaldım ne yalan söyleyeyim. Hatta bitirdiğimde bu kadar kısa sürede bitmiş olmasına oldukça şaşırdım. Olsun, en azından elimde yarım olan bir işimi daha bitirmiş oldum. Ayrıca çevreye ışık kaynağı gerekmeyecek.

Projem bittiğine göre çevreyi biraz toparlayıp uzun bir süre oyuna girmemeye hazırlansam iyi olacak. Yatağımı oradan kaldırmayı unutmuşum. Son kez her şeyi kontrol edip örgü işlerime geri dönmek istiyorum.

Sanırım ejderha havuzumuzdan bu kadar. Kendimi yıpratmadan yapabileceğim en iyi şeyin bu olduğuna inanıyorum. Belki bir sonraki sefere daha zor bir şey seçerim ama hiçbir zaman kaleyi geçebilecek bir şey olduğuna inanmıyorum. Bakalım neler olacak.
