This post is about the game #Splinterlands, which runs on the #hive #web3 platform where we monetize our content and play #play2earn! I invite you to learn more about it and join us!
I've been playing Splinterlands since 2021, when I started back when we had other game dynamics. Back then, we needed collection strength, which was the sum of the strengths of the individual cards we had available. Nowadays, things have changed a lot, but the turn-based battle system is the same.
The Splinterlands game is card-based, meaning a deck of cards that each player has at their disposal to play battles. Each time, a new set of cards is released, changing the entire game dynamic.
That's what happened in May 2025 when the new card set called Conclave Arcana was released. I bought a few card packs to try out the new features, and this post shows how we can use these cards in battles, aiming to earn the rewards of this #Splinterlands game that is #play2earn!
I finished the previous season in the Silver II league and now I've completed my reset routine:
I bought 4 packs of the Conclave Arcana Starter Pack type
I upgraded cards (listed below)
I rented summoners Avina of the Wolf, Nomos, Prophet Rosa, and Kavor Skarn at level 2 so I could use my evolved cards.
My 4-pack purchase yielded 20 new BCXs of various cards. Not all of them were useful, but some of them enabled the upgrade of cards that I'll highlight now. The purchase also yielded a post analyzing pack openings, so you can check out my most recent posts if you're interested.

In this first selection, we managed to get four cards to level 2! The first two, Bludgeon Hucker and Buttercup Mauler, are highlighted, and are used very frequently in my battles. However, I always need to have a rented summoner because I don't yet have any Conclave Arcana cards at level 2 to be able to unlock cards at level 2 and above.

This round also featured five Level 2 cards, the highlights being Portly Cannoneer and Silverleaf Warlock, the former for the extra attack point that helps the team while also adding melee damage for everyone. And the second one is for adding speed to the death team. This is very useful and I was very pleased.

The last two cards I managed to upgrade were also from the Water team, and this time they both stand out even though they didn't add more damage. They've been good cards since the first level, and I've always used them in my battles.
Next Steps
I intend to continue purchasing Conclave Arcana Packs and sharing the results with everyone! Each week I'll buy a certain amount, depending on my cash flow. Sometimes I can buy large volumes and other times just 4 packs, like last time.
Also, as my cards evolve, I'll need to level up the summoners to unlock their best potential. This is a pretty obvious thing to say.
I don't plan on selling cards at the moment!

O jogo Splinterlands é baseado em cards, ou seja, um baralho de cards que cada jogador tem a disposição para jogar as batalhas. A cada tempo, uma nova coleção de cards é lançada, fazendo com que toda a dinâmica do jogo mude. Foi isso que aconteceu em Maio de 2025 quando foi lançada a nova coleção de cards chamada Conclave Arcana. Eu comprei alguns packs de cards para poder experimentar as novidades, e esta postagem mostra como podemos usar esses cards em batalhas, visando ganhar as recompensas desse jogo #Splinterlands que é #play2earn!
Eu encerrei a temporada anterior na liga Silver II e agora já fiz minha rotina de reinício:

Aluguei invocadores Avina of the Wolf, Nomos, Prophet Rosa e Kavor Skarn em level 2 para poder usar meus cards evoluidos.
A minha compra de 4 packs rendeu 20 novos bcx de diversos cards. Nem todos foram úteis mas alguns deles possibilitaram o upgrade de cards que vou destacar agora. A compra também rendeu uma postagem de análise de abertura de packs então você pode verificar nos meus posts mais recentes caso tenha interesse.

Nessa primeira seleção conseguimos levar quatro cards para o level 2! Em destaque estão os dois primeiros Bludgeon Hucker e Buttercup Mauler que são usados com muita frequência em minhas batalhas. Contudo eu preciso sempre ter invocador alugado pois ainda não tenho nenhum do tipo Conclave Arcana em level 2 para poder desbloquear os cards em level 2 e acima.

Nesta rodada também levamos 5 cards em level 2 e os destaques são Portly Cannoneer e Silverleaf Warlock, sendo o primeiro pelo ponto de ataque extra que ajuda equipe ao mesmo tempo que adiciona dano melee para todos. E o segundo por adicionar velocidade na equipe death. Isso é muito útil e fiquei muito satisfeito.

Os dois últimos cards que consegui realizar upgrade foram também da equipe Water e dessa vez ambos são destaques mesmo não tendo adicionado mais dano, pois são cards bons desde o primeiro level e tenho usado eles sempre nas minhas batalhas.
Próximos passos
Pretendo continuar comprando Conclave Arcana Packs e compartilhando com todos os resultados! Cada semana devo comprar alguma quantidade, a depender do meu dinheiro em caixa. As vezes posso comprar grandes volumes e outras vezes apenas 4 packs como foi da última vez.
Além disso conforme meus cards forem sendo evoluídos eu irei precisar aumentar o level dos invocadores para poder liberar o uso das suas melhores potenciais. Isso é uma coisa bem óbvia de se dizer.
