A Hive Friend got me into a strong clan

Hi there, and it is nice of you to stop by. In one of my articles on my blog about how my village was ATTACKED! in the game Clash of Clans, my friend @new.things suggested I should join a clan to gain reinforcements that can be used to protect my village. I thought it was merely a good suggestion, but I didn't realize he was a good player too in the game until he shared an image of his village with me. Oh mehn! That wasn't a village, it was a fortress, or more like a well-developed kingdom with strong defenses.

He even went on to propose that I join his clan, but I was still a level 4 player back then. But hey guys, newsflash! I am now a level 13 player. The obsession came last night while I was seated in my corridor, waiting for my girlfriend, who was making dinner. Whenever she is frying, she loves it when I sit outside because she knows I will react less to the smoke since I am outside. To me, it was a spare time to game and not much about my easy reaction to smoke, yeah, that's a gamer, we use the spare time we have to game, especially when we are working class.

I played for hours, obsessed with the motivation I got from @new.things when he shared his village and opportunity to join his clan. It was no brainer when I turned down any other clan recommendation in the game, if it wasn't my friend's clan, I was not interested. After hours of gaming, I completely forgot that I had already built a clan castle, which means I can finally join a clan. But today, I got an update from my friend about the clan's details, and I should go ahead to send an invite to join.

My Friend's Clan is not one to mess with.

After I joined the clan, a couple of minutes later I was accepted into the Aussie M War Clan, and guy,s I kid you not, this clan is the main deal. It has a strong reputation, and if I were to join naturally through the game, I wouldn't be accepted because of how low my trophies are. To gain access to a clan like this can only be done through an invitation from a friend.

This goes to prove that Hive is indeed a community where you can meet amazing people with common interests. Keep writing about what you love and be consistent with it, even if you have just a single read or zero, gradually you will get recognized.

This act of thoughtfulness from a friend may seem small to others or people who are not gamers or game lovers like me, but this says it all, there is a community out there for you and I hope you find it the way I have found the gaming community.
