On my way to work this morning, while using the public transit, I got a pop-up notification on the Microsoft Edge browser on my phone from the IGN website, saying Naughty Dog might be in the process of developing a new game.
A brief thought of what that means got me wondering about the game and the fact that I haven't played The Last of Us yet, and now, there might be another one.
It was on a podcast, I guess with the name something like Press X to continue podcast, where the Chief of Naughty Dog, Alex Druckmann, spoke about the game, which might be in development. Honestly, my take is that there might be a game, but I couldn't wrap my head around the secrecy behind the game. I don't get why he didn't say the name of the game or much about it, except that he was now in a directorial role, and he gets to see the team behind the game do their amazing work as he reviews.
The Secret game isn't The Last of Us 3 and it isn't a spin off as well.
At first read, I already thought it was The Last of Us 3 or a spin-off of such from the game, rather to my surprise, it isn't, as he confirmed. This leaves me with the question: are these gaming companies now implementing the element of surprise into their sales tactics, or is it just a deflection from what is coming?
Well, who knows now, aside from the developers working at Naughty Dog?
Hey gamers, I am currently having an idea about bribing some developers at Naughty Dog with candy to spill some beans about the upcoming game.
So, what could Druckmann tell me
Since the game is still a thing of mystery, at least Druckmann was able to promote Naughty Dog's new game, Intergalactic: The Heletic Prophet, which has Tati Gabrielle from the YOU Series as the main game character and a new storyline. At the moment, I do not know if I am ready to check it out because my plate is full with work, and the spare time I have, I still have some pending games to play. But guys, if you play the game or check it out, do not fail to blog about it. Let us know how it felt playing it.
Did you know?
From my read on IGN blog site about games (the website is quite wack on PC by the way), I discovered that Naughty Dog are not only the ones behind The Last of Us, but also Uncharted and Naughty Dog is owned by Sony. WoaH! That was some new info for me.
I don't know if I am the only gamer, but most of the time, I barely pay attention to who made the game, instead I am focused on the experience I gain when playing it, except on some rare occasions when the game is too good, then I check the company or developers behind it.
Well, that is it for me with this update and do not forget to share your experience if you play Intergalantic. Your share might be the reason someone plays it or even better doesn't waste their time on it.
See you in the next game.
