Today, I found a new game on the PlayStation store under the section of free games, as I was curious to know what the ratings are for free games. Through my search in the free game section, I came across Valorant. The gaming graphics of the characters and how they displayed the game on the PlayStation store struck a chord in me that I could not resist clicking on the download button.
It took a total of 30GB of data to download the game, but I guess one of the core benefits of working in tech is the access to data at your disposal. So it wasn't a problem for me to download the game immediately I found it interesting. Although the download was quite slow due to the weather conditions in my area, which disrupted my internet speed, I was still lucky enough to get the game installed after a couple of hours. I must add that Valorant was not my top pick from the shelf of free games; I was hoping to get Warframe or Destiny 2, but for some weird reason, these games refused to download. Well, too bad for those games as I got something better, at least for me.

Before I go on, I have to commend the design team behind the development of this game because they damn well did a good job. The color combinations, character design, and the easy design guide on getting started with the game are brilliant. As a designer, I must say I know what it takes to create a well-detailed user experience, especially for gaming. And the developers are not left out. As long as the game is running smoothly without any development problems, just know that some badass developers are behind such a result. Fast adoption and users are what you get when a game is good, and trust me when I say Valorant is good.

After downloading, I went on YouTube to get a sense of the game and to see if they are creators already making content on this game. To my fullest surprise, there is a massive fanbase of Valorant gamers out there and even YouTubers. Now, I see that the 300k reviews on the game on PlayStation Store are small compared to the number of Valorant gamers out there. This time I have to say it: I was late to the party again!
I watched a couple of tutorial videos to see if Valorant is a game that I can master within a short time or at least become decently good at it. From the videos, one key important thing is that it takes consistent play, and your progress will be seen in the games you play. With this info, I began my basic training on the game, where I met my character and teammates, and after some lessons on movement and arming myself with some kits, I finally learned how to shoot and respond in combat.

Although my training is still ongoing but I am sure I have found a new game that will be my go-to for a while. Expect more from me when I achieve a milestone.
See you in the next game.

I used to play PS1,2,3 with my son when he was growing up all your new stuff looks great but Hive seems to be enough for me nowadays. How to do find the idle games on Hive? I struggle to get any where on Splinterlands with out put lots of time and recourses into it but enjoy just grinding away on Risingstar, crownrend

I came across Crownrend on a blog post from someone, so I said I would check it out to understand the game before I settle on investing my time in playing it.
Nice of you to stop by.
