Prompt: Busy Bug
Yesterday I immediately dive in on the starry friend prompt and obviously this is not the prompt for this day but here it is no worries. This prompt immediately made me think about movement, schedules, familiar feeling of always being on the way to something. I am thinking of a tiny winged character dressed for work with a briefcase in hand, already flapping its wings before the day has even properly started. I am not planning to draw a real bug though but a human figure so I can depict the moving with purpose quite well like being busy has become second nature.
Since it is a human figure I tried my best to make the wings secondary. They are there, yes, but the posture says everything: leaning forward trying to get a ride. It’s that quiet kind of busy that is already routine or mundane.
I made this drawing simple with no background noise or added extra details. I focused on drawing a small figure suspended in motion, caught between the hustle of a busy day. I want it to be a little fun and whimsical to lighten that busy mood this drawing is giving.
As always, this challenge isn’t about perfect drawings or finishing fast. It’s about showing up, even briefly, and letting an idea take shape.
Draw at your own pace.
I must say goodbye office hahaha
it is subtle I must say look at those antennae? they look like they are just a part of his hair
