Turtle Island

Hello Hivers,

Here is a drawing I made as my interpretation of the shape provided in the doodle magic drawing challenge 241 The shape has these interesting extensions that look like the limbs of a turtle and that explains why I chose to make a turtle island. I kept everything as is especially the colors so that the reference shape would be much noticeable. I take my inspiration from the one green triangle and turned it into a tree. I then added more of the same shape and vary the shade of green I think they look like island trees now. I want it to look like it is floating on water so added a layer and created the water effect along the outer edges of the island, Originally the the pink background is blue but it is not working giving the general look a muddy appearance so I changed it to pink

The last item I added is my existing fox character from my forest folk drawings I think it would make a nice addition to the island. I tried to mimic the style and look of the reference image which is more like a 3D balloon appearance with no visible line drawing just the colors and shades. Below is the reference image for the challenge.
