Night walk at Putrajaya

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY5 months ago

Putrajaya is home to the headquarters of most Malaysian government agencies. Many of the buildings here are beautiful and aesthetic. My job require me to frequently travel to Putrajaya. However, during working hour I am not able to stop and visit the interesting places in Putrajaya.

Last weekend my family and I had an impromptu picnic at the park right in front of Perbadanan Putrajaya. We brought along our picnic chairs and some light snacks. I also brought my portable game console.

After spending about an hour or so at the park, we packed up and went for a short walk around the nearby area. Below are some of the spots we managed to visit that night

Masjid Putra (Putra Mosque)

Masjid Putra is one of the famous landmark of Putrajaya. It is also known as the Pink Mosque because of the rose-pink granite exterior. The mosque combines the architectural of traditional Malay and Middle Eastern. It is definitely one of the must-visit places when u visit Putrajaya.

Though at night, it does not looked pink at all.

Prime Minister Office

The building in the middle is the Prime Minister’s Office, also known as Perdana Putra. It’s known for its distinctive green dome, but from afar, it doesn’t really look green.

I’ve been inside the building twice for a meeting, and both times I got lost. The building ismassive and honestly confusing to navigate.

Perbadanan Putrajaya

Perbadanan Putrajaya, or PJJ, is the government agency in charge of designing and maintaining the landscape of Putrajaya.

Honestly, they’ve done an amazing job. The park that we went for picnic is located literally right in front of the PJJ building.

Palace of Justice

This building houses the Ministry of Justice and the courts, including the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court. Palace of Justice or Istana Kehakiman is of of the famous landmark in Putrajaya

Sadly, I forgot to take the full photo of the Palace of Justice landscape.
