Part One:
The other day. my father brought the foam from my loft bed. It's comfortable to sleep on, but it's too small for the three of us. Mama and I initially decided to take turns, but I thought of an idea.
I remember one of my older cousins has a business which also includes foldable foam. I have bought one from him before at a huge discount, but since we don't have money now, I thought of asking for his help.
That morning, I told him what happened to us and asked if he has an extra foldable foam. An hour or so later, he replied that he's working at the moment and he's not home. He told me that if someone can get it in his place, and even offered my whole family to stay in their house temporarily until we could fix our flooded house.
I told him, we're still going back and forth the flooded house and our temporary house, so we can't stay anywhere else. Also, no one can go to his house at the moment, and since we don't have a car, we can't easily get it.
After reading my message, he told me that it's ok. Once he's done with work, he'd come over to bring it. He also told his wife what happened and she started checking for some stuff to bring us. Fastforward in the evening, my cousin messaged me again saying he's home and asked me for our current location.
Then. they arrived...

They brought us the foam, a cute portable stove for us to cook on, and a bunch of clothes. His wife is really fashionable, and she gave us a bunch of lovely clothes we could use either at home and when going out.
Seeing them took me back to those days when grandma was still alive. She used to live alternately with us and with my older cousin's family. In those days, we used to visit each other's houses. However, when grandma passed away, the bond also somehow halted. We became busy with our lives, although we still casually message each other on special occasions, or when something big happens within the family.
However, this is proof that we're just a message away from each other. And despite the distance (physically and emotionally), we still got each other's backs. When things settle down, we plan to visit their place again. My older cousin coaches a local basketball team in their area, and our youngest cousin is so crazy about basketball these days, so I'd take him to our older cousin's place to play and practice.
It's been a while since I played as well, so I'll join in. It sounds nostalgic. I used to play basketball with them when we were younger, although I played more with this cousin's younger brother since we were closer in age. It was fun reminiscing that place and those days again. His wife was his long-time girl friend, so she also shares some of those memories with us.
After talking for a while, they decided to go home, but he later texted my mom to just message himmin case we need anything.

Part Two:
This also happened yesterday...
I've mentioned in my previous post that my female bestie sent us some money to get started again... We couldn't use it soon because the digital wallets weren't working because of connection problems. I sent the money to my bank account, but my ATM was with my father who was stranded in his hometown.
With what my bestie gave us, we bought a lot of stuff we need at home.

These are all very necessary items for us... I'm grateful for all the blessings and all the people who helped us.

We also got Arashi and Max new dog food plates. Ther old ones are still somewhere in the mud... We temporarily just used some plasticware covers for their plate.
We restarted from zero, but we're slowly but surely moving forward. Thanks for everyon who encouraged and supported us... we truly appreciate it.
