Monomad: The destination becomes more beautiful with the journey

Can you spot the paraglider in this photo

Although nothing can beat a solo journey, I also agree that if your favourite companion is with you, the journey becomes even better. This happened on 15th May when I and my friend @naveen.jogta went to Hanumangarh Peak. We both had a task in which we had to mark an 8 km long segment.

A trail race and a road half marathon are going to be held after two days, and we are marking the route for this event. By the time we reached Hanumangarh Top at 1:30 pm, avoiding the scorching sun, the cool breeze coming from the Dhauladha mountain range dried our sweat. The height of this peak is 3080 meters and a 360 degree view is visible from here.

Standing at the top, first we admire the view around and then sit for a while to control our fast breathing. We eat the bananas we have brought with us and when our bodies are energized again, we both roam around the top. I can see the snow of Dhauladhar which will not melt even in summers.

From here, Twin Peak is visible and Jalsu Pass is also situated somewhere there. Then a top is visible which is situated near Lang Kinnauri. Looking far away, the mountains of Kullu are seen blurred, I do not recognize the mountains of Kullu, maybe if I study the map a little, I will remember. To the north of Thamsar Pass, Makodi Pass is standing at the mouth of its valley towards Raja.

From the top itself, the road going from Cheena Pass to Billing is visible, the road gives the feeling of a river in the middle of the forest. Apple trader @naveen.jogta is roaming around the horizon towards some bird and searching for some best frames for himself. A little below the top, a tourist is sitting with a tent. So that's it for today's post...see you again in the next post.

This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
