Today I woke up diaphanous, simple, almost universal I could say. But at the same time I felt silent, basic, elemental, almost wanting to say "nothing" and say it with my eyes... I wake up like this from time to time. It is, for me, like being in a complete void full of reasons which I don't need to understand in an explicit way... And, obviously, when I wake up like this, the best thing for me and for all those around me is to interact as little as possible, so I ended up in my studio and was there listening to music (I love those potpourri of classics that are on YouTube and use them for when I'm like this like today) and also spent a few hours editing my street photos to share them here with you on #Hive...

Hoy desperté diáfano, simple, casi que universal podría decir. Pero al mismo tiempo me sentí silente, básico, elemental casi queriendo decir "nada" y decirlo con la mirada... Despierto así de vez en cuando. Es, para mi, como estar en un completo vacío repleto de razones las cuales no necesito entender de una forma explícita... Y, obviamente, cuando despierto así, lo mejor para mi y para todos aquellos que me rodean es interactuar lo menos posible, así que terminé en mi estudio y estuve allí escuchando música (amo esos potpurrí de clásicos que hay en YouTube y los uso para cuando estoy así como hoy) y también dediqué unas cuantas horas a editar mis fotos callejeras para compartirlas aquí con ustedes en #Hive...

I selected these photos almost at random. They are all street shots, yes; but their characteristics are very diverse. Today I just wanted to process and edit for a long time. Both to continue enjoying that feeling of “completed emptiness” with which I woke up, and to gradually return to a relatively more normal state, which would allow me to behave with my close people as always... I know that all this sounds strange, but it is something that happens to me regularly and it is not something that is bad, on the contrary, it is a relaxing feeling, like “being complete without needing anything”, but at the same time it is difficult for me to communicate when I am like this, that is why I try to isolate myself until it passes...

Estas fotos las seleccioné casi al azar. Son todas callejeras, sí; pero sus características son muy diversas. Hoy solo quería procesar y editar largamente. Tanto para seguir disfrutando de esa sensación de "vacío completado" con la cual desperté, como para ir gradualmente regresando a un estado relativamente más normal, el cual me permitiese comportarme con mis personas cercanas como siempre... Sé que todo esto suena extraño, pero es algo lo cual me sucede regularmente y no es algo que resulte malo, por el contrario, es una sensación relajante, como de "estar completo sin necesitar nada", pero al mimo tiempo me cuesta comunicarme cuando estoy así, es debido a eso que procuro aislarme hasta que pase...

I stayed until after noon in my studio doing this, even fasting during the morning without being aware of it. But once I came out of my isolation I returned to my usual way of being, so the people around me hardly noticed my absence during the morning... I guess everyone knows me well enough by now to understand when this happens to me. So after noon it continued to be “just another Sunday” where I will join my family for the afternoon (my mother, my wife, my youngest daughter and my two sisters who came to visit with some of my nieces)... And additionally I was able to work on these photos and share them here with you!!! 😉

Estuve hasta más allá del mediodía metido en mi estudio haciendo esto, incluso ayuné durante la mañana sin tener conciencia de ello. Pero una vez salí de mi aislamiento retorné a mi forma de ser habitual, así que las personas a mi alrededor apenas si notaron mi ausencia durante la mañana... Supongo que todos ya me conocen lo suficiente como para entender cuando me pasa esto. As= que después del mediodía esto continuó siendo "otro Domingo más" en donde me reuniré con mi familia durante la tarde (Mi madre, mi esposa, mi hija menor y mis dos hermanas quienes vinieron de visita con algunas de mis sobrinas)... ¡Pero lo mejor de todo fue poder trabajar sobre estas fotos y compartirlas aquí con ustedes! 😉

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
