A Square to Fall in Love With

This weekend I wanted to go beyond the center of Caracas looking for other images that make us fall in love and that's how I arrived at the Plaza Altamira, an icon of the city of Caracas, is located in the Altamira urbanization, is a place of reference for all Venezuelans, is a recreational space to mitigate the problems and meeting point to celebrate social, educational and productive activities and highlight the culture and traditions.

Una Plaza Que Enamora

Este fin de semana quise ir más allá del centro de Caracas buscando otras imágenes que nos enamoren y fue así, como llegué a la Plaza Altamira, un icono de la ciudad de Caracas, se encuentra ubicada en la urbanización Altamira, es un lugar de referencia para todos los venezolanos, es un espacio de esparcimiento para mitigar los problemas y punto de encuentro para celebrar actividades sociales, didácticas y productivas y resaltar la cultura y las tradiciones.

The square, located in the municipality of Chacao, is bordered by important road arteries, which communicate throughout the city. Its large commercial buildings with modern styles stand out in the urbanism, embellishing the urban landscape and its ornamentation. The square itself has a life of its own, with a cascading fountain and an obelisk that is the symbol of the municipality of Chacao.

La plaza, ubicada en el municipio Chacao, está bordeada por importantes arterias viales, que se comunican por toda la ciudad. Sus grandes edificaciones comerciales con estilos modernos destacan en el urbanismo, embelleciendo el paisaje urbano y su ornamento. La propia plaza tiene vida propia, tiene una fuente que cae en cascada y un obelisco que es el símbolo del municipio Chacao.

It is a very pleasant place to come in the afternoons, when the sun goes down, the weather gives us a cool place. The fountain refreshes the space. With the height it reaches it manages to spread its dew, its sound manages to appease us, it is another distraction that catches its visitors. Spending some time resting on its benches and contemplating the natural beauty abstracts us. It is charming to come to this municipality, its urban landscape transports us and the walk alone relaxes us. I encourage you to know it, it is easily accessible, you arrive by subway, Altamira station, public transport, or for more comfort in private transport. It is never alone, it always has life.

Es un lugar muy agradable para venir en las tardes, cuando el sol se va ocultando, el clima nos regala un lugar fresco. La fuente refresca el espacio. Con la altura que alcanza logra esparcir su rocío, su sonido logra apaciguarnos, es otra distracción que atrapa a sus visitantes. Pasar un rato descansando en sus bancos y contemplar la belleza natural nos abstrae. Es encantador venir a este municipio, su paisaje urbano nos transporta y el solo paseo nos relaja. Los animo a conocerla, es de fácil acceso, llegas por el metro, estación Altamira, transporte público, o para más comodidad en transporte privado. Nunca está sola, siempre tiene vida.

I love its buildings, they surround it on all sides as if they were guardians, taking care of their spaces. In my street photos, night was already falling, and finally, I show images of the Virgen la Milagrosa, there is also a space for recollection and peace.

Me encantan sus edificios, la rodean por todos lados parecieran guardianes, cuidando sus espacios. En mis fotos callejeras ya estaba cayendo la noche, por último, muestro imágenes de la Virgen la Milagrosa, también hay un espacio para el recogimiento y la paz.
