Our Night Out: Taste the Night – Find your Flavor, Feel the Vibe

Lovely day awesome Hivers of #lifescape tribe community. May your day is blessed and stress-free. I hope you'll like my sharing for today.

We attended an event earlier that day and it was already evening when we went out from the venue. I was able to capture the hotel view as we were moving towards the exit. Vehicles were forming in line, waiting for the signal to move and I was able to capture the building while in motion. This is Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City, Philippines. The hotel has some contemporary and classical elements. Distinctive spires can also be seen which give an impression of castle-like appearance from a distance. A path leading to the exit gate adorned with artistic light posts and tall palm trees.

Near the hotel, there is a popular site- IT Park, where international BPO companies are located. Within the area, an open food court can be seen called, Sugbu Mercado. It looks ordinary at daytime but the place becomes lively and vibrant in the evening.

The smell of delicious dishes made me hungry. Each food stall offered variety of local dishes and some with foreign names. I could hear different sound – customers’ hum of conversation, the clinking from the metal utensils as vendors prepared the order in quick motion, music from the 80s being played, and a lot more. Yet, it was all joyful as I watched hungry and contented diners settled on their seats.

I said to myself, what would happen if it rained? Thanks to the stars, it didn’t rain, everyone was in their happy place with happy faces. I loved those colorful star decorations, giving light and adding more beauty to the surrounding.

I was focused more on the different signage with bright lights that emphasized their menus. We were surrounded with different vibrant lights but they were soft to the eyes. It was chaotic but joyful to see at the same time.

I love how the staff was so friendly and gladly posed for picture-taking.

Local brand of beer; of course, what’s a night out without beer…

But for a healthier choice, one can have fresh fruit shake options.

As I was reviewing the pictures, I noticed a bible verse Isaiah 45:22 was included in their stall signage. How nice it was for the owner to include that verse which emphasizes the importance of salvation through the Creator God. It is also like a gentle reminder for me as if my heart was tapped to reflect on something...
