Pleasant greetings. It's nice to have you visit my blog again and I pinky promise you'll be glad you did. Lol. Yes, I'll color your visit with this vibrant, elegant yet calm color, pink.
Color pink is a beautiful color that appears in nature, notably in flowers - roses, weeds and shrubs and animals, example flamingo. It's also a popular color in fashion and design etc.
Pink can evoke feelings of joy, warmth, and love. and can either be used to create a calming effect or a vibrant and energetic one.
Here's a fact about pink.
Pink was originally considered a masculine color until around 1950 when marketing activities portrayed it as a feminine color and thus it was till date.
To simply get a pink color, just mix red and white. No stress. Lol.
Color pink comes in various shades, in fact there are about 100 shades of pink. There's the popular Rose pink, Light pink, Fuschia, Flamingo pink, Hot pink, Pale pink, Baby pink and many other pinks.

And here's a flowering plant, with vibrant pinky blooms. I couldn't pin a particular name to it other than it's a flower, nature's beauty. And the shade of pink, I'm not sure which it is. Could it be baby pink or light pink?
Well, I took this picture on one of the days I was out in the field for work. It was a warm afternoon and all I wanted to do was finish my work and head back to the office. But as I spotted the flower, it's delicate petals and gentle colors seemed to radiate a sense of calm, and I felt my fatigue and frustration begin to melt away. The anxiety and worry I had about finishing my work started to fade and I felt a renewed sense of energy and focus to continue grinding. The magic of nature.

Another pinky bloom I snapped on my way home from Mass some days ago. Good a thing I was able to get it's name, Caesar weed (Urena lobata) using Google lens. Caesar weed is a perennial shrub, that has medicinal properties and are used in traditional medicine for a range of ailments. In fact, it is an invasive and tolerant weed that can invade crop fields and pastures if not handled. You can well describe Urena lobata as useful but yet destructive.
I'm not particular about color pink, in fact it's not a color I would miss not having in my closet. I can't even say whether it suits me or not. Do you think it does? 😅
And that's a wrap for color pink. Once again, thanks for coming around and do have a pleasant and colorful week!
