Un momento del día que no puede faltar

Mi día empieza cuando a la mañana abro las puertas que salen al patio.
Ese primer rayo de luz que entra, enciende una sonrisa en mis ojos.
Luego me llega el canto de algún pájaro, y recuerdo un piano de jazz de la noche anterior.
Pongo el agua a calentar, y espero todavia en silencio el perfume del té, mientras miro mi patio.

Solo soy un jardinero, un susurrador de plantas.
Riego y planto y cosecho tratando de ayudar a la Naturaleza en su obra.
Esto es, interviniendo lo menos posible. La mayor parte del tiempo se trata sólo de mirar.
A veces, acariciar.

Mi día empieza y termina con el sol saludando las plantas de mi patio.
No concibo una rutina, sin tocar este, mi suelo, sin visitar mis plantas floreadas. Que no me pertenecen, son mis amigas.

A moment of the day that can't be missed

My day begins when I open the doors to the patio in the morning.
That first ray of light that enters lights a smile in my eyes.
Then the sound of a bird chirping comes to mind, and I remember a jazz piano from the night before.

I heat water and wait in silence for the scent of tea, while I look at my patio.

I'm just a gardener, a plant whisperer.
I water and plant and harvest, trying to help Nature in her work.
That is, intervening as little as possible. Most of the time it's just a matter of looking.
Sometimes, caressing.

My day begins and ends with the sun greeting the plants in my patio.
I can't imagine a routine without touching this, my soil, without visiting my flowering plants. They don't belong to me; they are my friends.
