Fue una frase que llegó en el momento necesario, una postal del inconsciente para darme una dosis de realidad y la hacerme saber que la práctica hace al maestro.

It was a phrase that came at the right time, a postcard from the unconscious to give me a dose of reality and let me know that practice makes perfect.

Mis días son muy dinámicos y es difícil encontrar espacios para hacer cosas que me apasionan, pero difícil no es imposible y allí está Made, la que decidió comprar cosas portátiles para hacer arte en todas partes. También mis amigos me han motivado regalándome un destroza este diario que ya les compartí.

My days are very dynamic and it is difficult to find spaces to do things that I am passionate about, but difficult is not impossible and there is Made, the one who decided to buy portable things to make art everywhere. Also my friends have motivated me by giving me a destroy this diary that I already shared with you.

Confieso que estudiar ilustración es uno de esos sueños que han sido alimentados desde que estoy en Hive; de hecho, a principios de año lo tenía como meta, pero algunos planes han sido modificados, así que mientras eso ocurre, decidí no frustrarme e incorporé a mi rutina, de alguna manera, pintar un poco con acuarelas, colores, liners y hasta café.

I confess that studying illustration is one of those dreams that have been nurtured since I've been at Hive; in fact, at the beginning of the year I had it as a goal, but some plans have been modified, so while that happens, I decided not to get frustrated and incorporated into my routine, somehow, painting a bit with watercolors, colors, liners and even coffee.

A mis compañeros de trabajo no les extraña encontrar en algún lugar de la sala de descanso uno de mis proyectos a medio secar, mientras estoy en mi turno de guardia. Es inusual; a veces sonríen con incredulidad que una persona adulta se divierta pintando. Otras veces me miran como bicho raro, pues en el caos yo estoy con tanta calma disfrutando de un break creativo.

My co-workers are no strangers to finding one of my half-dried projects somewhere in the break room while I'm on my on-call shift. It's unusual; sometimes they smile in disbelief that an adult is having fun painting. Other times they look at me like a weirdo, because in the chaos I am so calmly enjoying a creative break.

Siento que unir sin juicio a mi rutina estas pequeñas cápsulas de arte me alivia el estrés y el de mis compañeros, que siempre están atentos de cuál será el dibujo del día. Aunque disfruto más los días en los que me puedo sentar con un poco de café y dejar que fluya la pintura, sin estar tan obsesionada con el resultado y la técnica; pintar como lo hacía cuando era niña, disfrutando admirando los colores y con ojos de curiosidad por lo que se puede lograr.

I feel that joining these little capsules of art to my routine without judgment relieves my stress and that of my colleagues, who are always attentive to what will be the drawing of the day. Although I enjoy more the days when I can sit down with some coffee and let the painting flow, without being so obsessed with the result and the technique; painting as I did when I was a child, enjoying admiring the colors and with eyes of curiosity for what can be achieved.
