El 12 del mes pasado fue el Dia de los Enamorados aquí en Brasil y por supuesto no nos quedamos por fuera de esta celebración y lo hicimos a nuestro modo. Fue un día jueves, lo que significa que estábamos libres, así que pudimos pasar el día en casa haciendo diferentes cosas.
The 12th of last month was Valentine's Day here in Brazil, and of course, we didn't miss out on this celebration and did it our way. It was a Thursday, which meant we were free, so we were able to spend the day at home doing different things.
Iniciamos nuestro día intercambiando regalos, Dani me obsequió un selfie stick, algo que tanto quería y unos chocolates, mientras que yo le regalé un vaso térmico personalizado con el logo de una de sus bandas favoritas y su nombre.
We started our day by exchanging gifts. Dani gave me a selfie stick, something he'd always wanted, and some chocolates, while I gave him a personalized tumbler with the logo of one of his favorite bands and his name.
Por tratarse de un día especial Dani preparó un almuerzo especial y fue un delicioso pasticho de pan y carne con mucho queso. Ese día queríamos pasarlo en casa, así que decidimos no salir y en lugar de eso vimos algunas películas comiendo snacks y dulces que compramos para ese plan.
Since it was a special day, Dani prepared a special lunch, a delicious pasticho of bread and meat with lots of cheese. We wanted to spend the day at home, so we decided not to go out and instead watched some movies while eating snacks and sweets we bought for that purpose.
Realmente fue un día especial y además tranquilo y aunque no salimos a hacer nada la pasamos muy bien en casa, comimos rico, nos dimos obsequios y lo más importante es que la pasamos juntos.
It was a truly special and peaceful day, and even though we didn't go out to do anything, we had a great time at home. We ate delicious food, gave each other gifts, and most importantly, we spent time together.
