Greetings creative friends of #Hive and community @Gems, I wish you have an excellent and blessed week in union with your loved ones, on this occasion I share the making of a beautiful purple top with golden edges, inspired by the Splinterlands character Camila Sungazer, the top is made with micro peach fabric and in the armholes and neck I placed a golden morita elastic, taking the character's outfit as a reference; the tops have become one of the most demanded underwear, due to its freshness, comfort and usefulness to exercise or simply use daily while doing housework, the model that I sewed corresponds to the basic one in the front and in the back has an X shape, very similar to the Olympic design, the initial plan was to place a thick purple elastic at the bottom, but when measuring and combining the fabrics I did not like how it would look, so I decided to also put bias on the bottom, the bias I used for this project was the moritas bias, which is one of my favorites because in addition to decorating the garment, it is easy to glue and adds a youthful and elegant style, I invite you to join me in the elaboration process.
Saludos amigos creativos de #Hive y comunidad @Gems, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana en unión de sus seres queridos, en esta ocasión comparto la elaboración de un hermoso top color morado con los bordes dorados, inspirado en el personaje de Splinterlands Camila Sungazer, el top está hecho con tela micro durazno y en las sisas y cuello coloqué un elástico de morita en color dorado, tomando como referencia el atuendo del personaje; los top se han convertido en una de las prendas íntimas con más demanda, debido a su frescura, comodidad y utilidad para realizar ejercicios o sencillamente usar a diario mientras se hacen las labores del hogar, el modelo que cosí corresponde al básico en la parte delantera y en el posterior tiene una forma de X, muy parecida al diseño olímpico, el plan inicial era colocarle un elástico grueso de color morado en el bajo, pero al medir y combinar las telas no me gustó cómo se vería, así que decidí colocarle también sesgo en el bajo, el sesgo que utilicé para este proyecto fue el sesgo de moritas, que es uno de mis favoritos porque además de decorar la prenda, es sencillo de pegar y agrega un estilo juvenil y elegante, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

The making process is simple and requires few steps. I started by marking the pieces and then cutting them; front and back. From the front, I cut two pieces so that it has both a lining and a main part. This way, it fits better and provides greater support to the bust.
El proceso de elaboración es sencillo y requiere pocos pasos, inicié marcando las piezas y luego corté; delantero y posterior, del delantero corté dos piezas para que tenga forro y principal, así queda mejor y brinda mayor soporte al busto.
The second step was to assemble the top. I placed the two front pieces face to face, pinned them, and placed the back piece on top. I pinned the shoulders, neck, and sides. I sewed the sides and shoulders with a straight stitch.
El segundo paso fue ensamblar el top, enfrenté las dos piezas delanteras, fijé con alfileres y encima coloqué pieza del posterior, fijé con alfileres por los hombros, cuello y costados, cosí con puntada recta los laterales y hombros.
Once the top was assembled, the next step was to glue the bias on the armholes. I placed the bias facing the right side of the fabric and sewed with a decorative stitch stretching one (1) centimeter of bias every four (5) centimeters. The bias is glued with the blackberries or ornaments facing down so that when turned over they are facing outwards and adorn the top.
Ensamblado el top, el siguiente paso fue pegar el sesgo en las sisas, coloqué el sesgo enfrentando el derecho con la tela y cosí con puntada decorativa estirando un (1) centímetro de sesgo cada cuatro (5) centímetros, el sesgo se pega con las moritas o adornos hacia abajo para que al voltear estas queden hacia afuera y adornen el top.
After gluing the bias in the armholes, I joined it to the neck, doing it this way a continuous seam is made that covers both the front and the back, to glue it, I faced the right side of the fabric with the right side of the bias, just like in the previous step I stretched the elastic one (1) centimeter, every five (5) centimeters, and sewed with a decorative stitch, once the bias is glued in the armholes and neck, all that is left is to vote to re-edge and add the bias to the bottom.
Luego de pegar el sesgo en las sisas, lo uní al cuello, haciéndolo de esta forma se hace una costura continua que cubra tanto la parte delantera como el posterior, para pegarlo, enfrenté derecho de la tela con derecho del sesgo, al igual que en el paso anterior estiré el elástico un (1) centímetro, cada cinco (5) centímetros, y cosí con puntada decorativa, ya pegado el sesgo en las sisas y cuello solo falta votear para repisar y agregar el sesgo del bajo.
Then I turned the bias tape to the wrong side so that the blackberries were facing outwards and sewed again using a decorative stitch. In this step, the elastic is not stretched, it is just sewn over the previous seam.
Luego volteé el sesgo hacia el revés de tal forma que las moritas queden hacia afuera y cosí nuevamente usando puntada decorativa, en este paso el elástico no se estira, solo se cose sobre la costura anterior.
Once the bias was glued to the armholes and neck, I measured the hem contour, 78 centimeters, then subtracted 10 centimeters (78 - 10 = 68) and glued it just as I did on the armholes and neck, facing right and right sides of the fabric and bias, I sewed with decorative stitch, stretching one (1) centimeter by (5) five of bias, then turned and sewed decorative stitching.
Pegado el sesgo en las sisas y cuello, medí el contorno del bajo, 78 centímetros, luego resté 10 centímetros (78 - 10 = 68) y lo pegué tal como lo hice en las sisas y cuello, enfrente derecho y derecho de la tela y sesgo, cosí con puntada decorativa, estirando un (1) centímetro por (5) cinco de sesgo, luego volteé y pasé costura decorativa.
The color combination of the top looks great, the gold bias adds elegance and style, combining the basic design in the front with an Olympic cut was a great success, the garment was comfortable and ideal to wear daily or when doing exercises and workouts, I hope the tutorial is useful.
