What Content you like to read on Hive?

Hive gives everyone the opportunity to everyone to basically write whatever they want but ofc there are some boundaries. It's basically like you have your personal blog and can write whatever you wish. It can also be different things; there is no need to focus on something specific.

Let's talk about me for a moment. I basically have a variety of things that i am writing about. For example, i like reviews of movies, series and anime that i have watched, without doing any major spoilers. I also enjoy writing generic things about the economy, life, certain business functions and such.

If i go abroad and visit another country or if i visit something awesome in my country and take some pictures, i may publish some related posts with both photos and explanations/historic facts, sharing my journey in the said destination with you.

Last but not least, i may publish some rants or talk about collectibles which i love as i collect a bunch of things myself. All of the things that i already mentioned, like my "go to" posts when i feel like posting something. If i have something else in my head when i open Hive, i might as well post it.

Pretty much i like reading similar stuff as well. Through movies, series and anime reviews i may discover something new and the same applies to the travel posts. I really like reading about other people's collectibles and even rants. Also i like reading more in-depth data and economic analytics about Hive and other crypto. Who knows i may find a new crypto out there which is a good investment opportunity.

Sadly, the way Hive is built it's quite difficult for most users to search for good and quality content. Some things that can help are a simple follow to the account you are interested in and joining certain communities. The downside with this is that if you follow and a lot of people and you are part of other communities, then again it's quite hard to navigate but at least it will be content that you like to read and not random "shitposts" as we say.

Honestly speaking no matter what people say about Hive throughout the years that i am here i have found real gems in terms of content but again, it's difficult to find specific things. It's way easier to simply Google something or even easier to use ChatGPT.

If someone has some time to spare though to search for hidden gems and some awesome people, Hive is the way in terms of freedom of writing. I know there is a lot of crap posts but trust me Wordpress and other platforms aren't better.

it's kinda amazing hive has survived this long when most crypto projects barely make it over a year. one thing i'd like to see is hive being tested on freedom of speech. is it truly censorship resistant? we just don't have enough attraction yet to tell.

Hive is still resistant while a whole lot of people keep taking advantage of it at the expense of all of us and ofc of the price (see DHF). Freedom of speech, in a way exists but it depends on the voting power. I can post about my life, about movies, games, travelling and if I have decent content (no like a sentence, for example) it will "pass". Meanwhile, if someones write something controversial, there is a chance of downvoting, so the more hp you have, the more you can help build a really free place or something that resembles a cage :p. It comes down to how people with power in here use it and based on Hive's price and the low activity we have, something doesn't feel right!

btw, it's been so long, how are you, man?

yea man it's been so long. i haven't really been following on hive stuff for a few years. i've been too busy coding and with my personal life and all. but now i might start posting stuff again.
