Hello my dear Hivers of this beautiful community! I hope you're all well and and having a peaceful and happy day wherever you are.

Today, after a long day at school, I decided to take a little break and unwind with my small family. Instead of going straight home, we took an afternoon walk along the dike beside the river.

The air was cool, the sound of flowing water was relaxing, and it felt good to just walk without rushing something I don't usually do on busy weekdays.

This river is one of the biggest river here in the Philippines. It's call the "Agusan River". It's where our province's name "Agusan del Sur" is from.

My daughter was full of energy as always, walking ahead and pointing at things she found interesting. My husband and I followed her, just smiling and taking in the quiet view around us. There’s really something about walks like these that make life feel a little lighter.

But of course, as Filipinos, no walk is complete without food! As we came to the dike, we saw a small food stall selling our all-time favorite street snacks.

There are tempura, fish flat, kikiam, and siomai. The smell alone was enough to make us stop. We each ordered our share, dipped them in the sweet and spicy sauce, and enjoyed every bite.

They also had drinks like sodas of different flavors and even milkteas! It felt like an unplanned mini date, just the three of us, eating by the riverside as the afternoon slowly turned to dusk.

It’s funny how a simple walk turned into a moment I’ll always remember. Sometimes, happiness really is found in the most ordinary days in shared snacks, simple talks, and quiet walks with the people we love most.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
