Compré en el mercado,
un pez de traje rosado,
sobre la mesa lo dejé por un rato
y me fui por un poco de cilantro.
El pez aprovechó el momento,
para irse sin remordimiento
y cuando lo vi huyendo,
le dije "Stop", no puedes hacerlo.
I bought at the market,
a fish in a pink suit,
I left it on the table for a while
and went to get some cilantro.
The fish took advantage of the moment,
to leave without remorse
and when I saw it running away,
I said, “Stop,” you can't do that.
Pero al pez no lo importó
y sobre mi pasó, sin control,
luego de un rato regresó,
con un globo de roja coloración.
Sobre la mesa lo dejó
y con rapidez se alejó,
de su cola lo detuve sin temor
y le dije que se lleve su desorden a otra locación.
But the fish didn't care
and swam over me, out of control,
then after a while it came back,
with a red balloon.
It left it on the table
and quickly swam away,
I grabbed its tail without fear
and told it to take its mess somewhere else.
Hasta el globo se acercó
y con cuidado lo tomó,
en mi dedo lo amarró
y mi mano voló sin limitación.
El pez me despidió
y feliz se quedó,
ahora es el dueño de la locación
y a mí, del camino me sacó.
The balloon came closer
and carefully took it,
tied it to my finger
and my hand flew without limitation.
The fish said goodbye to me
and remained happy,
now it is the owner of this location
and took me off the path.
Trajo un retazo de mar,
no sé donde lo fue a buscar,
lo arrastro hasta acá
y de la pared lo logró agarrar.
Aquel pez fue ingenioso
y me sacó del lugar en un globo,
trajo un retazo de mar bien hermoso
y así transformó el lugar a su antojo.
He brought a piece of the sea,
I don't know where he found it,
he dragged it here
and managed to grab it from the wall.
That fish was clever
and took me away in a balloon,
he brought a beautiful piece of the sea
and transformed the place as he pleased.
Ese pez bien astuto
Te ató a tu dedo el globo
distrayéndote,
mientras preparaba la sorpresa;
una trozo de su mar y hacer de tu casa su hogar.
