Hello Hivers ๐๐,
WE HAVE IT DONE. FIRST OF ITS KIND. WATERMELON ๐๐ HARVESTED ORGANICALLY. WITHOUT CHEMICAL FERTILIZER.
This is first of its kind which makes me to share this experience with the community of the agricultural mindset and it's a way to motivate thousands of people out there who are willingly to join the community and also to share a lot of Farm experience with a lot of technical know-how method. When I first of all started this watermelon farming it was just like a joke because I was not putting much energy at first. But along the line I noticed that it becoming more reality which makes me created a lot of quick awareness even in the community towards planting of different type of seed that are different from the ones we already know before.
It may be a very long story because even on the discord channel we chatted a lot on so many type of cropping system and different type of seed to be cultivated. And there I also mentioned about some of the factors you need to consider because its varies from state to state, country to country. So you must go with the seed that can grow and germinate in your own country. Although you may have reference to show or to look out for. When we got to the farm and I also noticed that the watermelon Vine that linked up the fruits itself is becoming more weaker. Therefore I decided to harvest the watermelon instantly so as not to waste all our efforts on the farm. Note that, we planted this without the use of chemical fertilizer and here we have the produce already out. We still have two or three more grown-ups on the farm.
- the leaves are still showing a lot of positive growth but yet I observe that there are more reasons to harvest it quickly.
This was when its still intact with the growing vine. and I got the picture because of so many people who may think its just a mere words. The reality is that the watermelon grow up very well and healthy. Due to the fact that my observation was right I needed to act fast on the harvest.
- This was when I captured the already wilting watermelon Vine. And in view of this it means that there are limited supply of nutrients into the fruit itself.
This was also when I already have extend the watermelon Fruits on the farm. We were so excited because they experience we had throughout the growing stages and flowering stages kept us in an amazing mood or through. Even the children were extremely happy to be on the farm with me.
The watermelon fruits was very big at least compared to those that are being sold in the trolley or in some market stores.
- This was when I was moving towards the children section. Because they were already busy with another farm section. The farm setting was made to bring a lot of ideas and discussions immediately when you reach the farm. There is no dull moment on the farm. Once you are on the farm you are in different thinking aspect of Agriculture.
I made sure that the happiness was shared even among the kids. The picture was taken even with too much excitement. To see that what we have labored for as given us produce after 3 to 4 months of cultivation.
- This was the outcome of the one of the watermelon produce that we harvested few hours ago and it was awesome. The experience is worth it. That is why making way in agriculture is a guideline to a success. when you put all your efforts in what you do you will always have a very good story to tell even though there maybe too much negative story as well. But nevertheless you will always shine.
When I cut the watermelon into two equal halves and into sections. The inside give a lot of positive impression because it was reddish as it is always seen in our own environment and state. I know we have different types of watermelon with good species. But this is the one we have here in West Africa Nigeria mainly.

Thank you so much. The amazing part is that. We have more still growing up slowly on the farm. The experience is 100%.

Oh wow! I'd love to grow a Melon! What delight to find growing hidden in the leaves. I'd be so excited. I tried to grow melomns outdoor in Wales UK, needless to say the plant didn't survive long.
