Basically the importance of antenatal clinic has been neglected despite the fact that allot of education has been put in place for this clinic. Good day everyone, I go by the name @sammimed . Today I will be talking about the importance of the antenatal clinic.
Not 100% really compulsory and assuring that every woman who attends antenatal clinic must have a safe and free pregnancy but regardless what then is the importance of this clinic.
This clinic really provides a baseline for both the healthcare providers and also the pregnant woman to monitor the growth of the pregnancy. Not all pregnancy growing a wrong way is easily detected. With the help of antenatal clinic that scanning are been done, abnormality can will be detected.
Also every woman with her pregnancy experience. Sharing or holding up to someone pregnancy experience and believing it will be same with yours is wrong. With antenatal clinic, you will be educated on possible things to expect and what is not normal.
Antenatal is not focus only on the unborn child, but the woman is also a focus of attention too. When you a pregnant woman attends antenatal clinic, if there is any underlying health condition especially associated with the pregnancy, it will and can easily be detected.
I encourage and advice that every pregnant woman who is yet to start antenatal should please do. Health is wealth, knowledge is power. Thank you.

Some people find it stressful to just check up on themselves and ensure they're healthy. Most times finance is the problem but I think the cost of antenatal has been very affordable so there won't be excuses. Glad to listen to you on this @sammimed.
A question here: I'm curious, how about babies or foetus that change position from the normal before delivery, do these pregnant mothers have to hold the babies till delivery or there are medications to correct this effect..
Thank you very much sir. From beginning of pregnancy, babies do move and change position and how the lie. For that it's natural and that's why during antenatal, scanning is part of the requirements. This scanning helps to monitor the baby but towards the remaining two months of pregnancy, the change of position is closely monitor because if the child take a wrong position around the 7th months maybe the baby might maintain the whole position for the remaining month.
For medications, no specific medication that change babies position although mannurveir are done sometimes by good health practitioners.
