The popular saying goes thus: "Readers are leaders". In this era of technological advancement, devotion to reading has greatly reduced. That's why alot of people are intellectually lazy but physically looking good because there are alot of distractions here and there keeping from reading. Infact, somw may argue that they do softcopy reading or online reading, but a message buzz from their social media account can take most of the time. Please, I'm not disparaging the positives of technology but the need to be balanced as individuals and for each person to know what works bestfor him or her.
Personally, i love reading and it has been something that has been a part of me over the years even as i do frequently buy books to read based on the title and not the author necessarily. Of recent, based on the Christian faith i belonged to, we were recommended two books to read so as to help our understanding of the subject of discuss for sone months now in Church and to engage us to the end of doing oir own personal study. The two books are; the convenant power of the blood of Jesus and the business of soul winning both by my mentor, Apostle Segun Obadje. The book is worth the read and i can recommend it anyday anytime for anyone even as softcopies are available online.
To add to my business knowledge based on my career path, i also bought and started reading a book about business which spoke about the 35 ancient chinese wisdom applicable to business success especially in thiams contemporary time. In addition, i must say that I'm a lover of Christian literatures about marrige, relationship and finance even has i have them both in hard & soft copy. I believe this generation needs to go back to reading books and develop a sound reading culture with physical (harcover) books especially for as many who can be easily distracted by soft or online copies. There are many advantages to reading even as it broadens/shapens the mind unto productivity.
In addition, the answers to questions in the heart & mind of some people currently has already been answered in a book written by someone else back then. To engage in reading is to go for knowledge which is precious. Reading also helps to maintain focus and aids ability to pay attention. Also, it improves memory even as there may be attention deficit and quick memory deterioration when not engaging the brain or the mind. I have found out that successful leaders are successful readers even as they built capacity for leadership by acquiring knowledge through reading. I once heard the story of how a founder of two private universities in Nigeria here was able to do so by him reading the stories of great internationally acclaimed universities in the world before the commencement of that of his.
In all, the earlier we go back to reading, the better it is for us as individuals even as we create time for it. Thanks so much for reading even as comments and contributions are welcomed.

Very much welcome 🤗
Yes I agree with you, because whenever the online copy is read, any message loses focus. The real feeling that is found in reading a book is actually found when reading it with a heart cover. I also believe this and it is good to maintain the habit of reading every day. Thank you
