So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the second topic for this week, which is “BAD ART”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “PRICE RANGE”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community sharing their thoughts with us on the idea of the prices of goods and services being regulated by the government. They shared the good side of such an initiative and also the ways that it could make things worse, not just for the people, but also for the business owners as well.

We got to see that certain things can be regulated by the government, and others are simply up to the discretion of the business owner. Many times, the market simply decides for itself what the price will be, and every factor involved will simply go along. That’s how it’s always been, and how it will keep on.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w188e1; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

Featured Contents

PROFIT FOR CLIENT, BUSINESS AND EMPLOYEES by @kilvnrex

This author told us that when it comes to the issue of pricing, it doesn’t really matter how expensive they are, but how happy everyone is when all is said and done. Because as long as customers are happy and they can afford it, they will always come back, regardless of the high cost. When it comes to the world of trading, negotiation will always be key.

PRICE WARS: SUPERMARKETS, STREET VENDORS AND FAST FOODS MILK YOUR WALLET DRY by @idksamad78699

For this author, he told us that while there are regulations in place guiding the pricing of goods, many businesses still go against it, and many times, without consequence. He showed us just how much brands inflate their prices simply to make a profit. And it’s something that happens over and over again.

THE REAL STRUGGLE BEHIND PRICING: A SMALL BUSINESS STORY by @fashtioluwa

For this author, he told us about the struggles that many small business owners go through when they have to deal with the pricing of their goods. While businesses can go overboard when fixing their prices, he also admitted that price control can also limit growth. The best way forward is to be fair and flexible, with simple guidelines that everyone can follow.

AND NOW, WE MOVE ON TO THE NEW TOPIC!

Week 188 - Edition 02 Topic

BAD ART

“Is there anything like bad art? If art is basically a form of expression, then is it possible to be bad at it? Maybe one is just less expressive than others, but it shouldn't diminish the message they hope to spread. What are your thoughts on this?”
