Prospective parents

in Hive Learners4 days ago

Greetings, everyone!

Welcome to the last episode of the featured contest for this week. I'm thrilled to be part of this content every week as God gives us the Grace to write for others to learn. It's pertinent to contribute meaningful ideas or opinions that will shape other people's lives.

To begin with the question of the featured contest, first, we have authority over our heads, the creator of the heavens and earth. He knows the beginning and the end. He knew how we were formed in our mother's belly, either as a girl or boy, through our parent's spermatozoa and eggs. God sees and knows how to make a being out of it. God is involved in the whole process from one step to another. So fortunate that the genes of babies are determined or inherited by the parents, the half-blood of the father and half-blood of the mother merged. I believe God knows why He did that himself from the beginning for His purpose to be fulfilled on earth.

If prospective parents could have the opportunity to modify the genes of their babies before they're born, would this be a great improvement?

If prospective parents have the opportunity to change the genes of their babies, it would be better and a lot of improvement will come into the family. This process will prevent a lot of health challenges for children like sickle cell, cystic fibrosis, and other diseases that could bring tears. The prospective parents should be careful and get to know each other's blood group and genotype so that it will not affect their children. Necessary tests need to be carried out as intended couples to avoid unnecessary crash down of building a family or suffering your children when they are born. If this opportunity was there before time, a lot of genetic diseases, children could be born earlier and have stronger immune systems.

However, on the other side, would this be right or ethical? Yeah, so many things would go wrong if such an opportunity was given. God knows better than we do, and that's why God didn't let it be established from the onset.

I had a close neighbor who had three children, all of them suffering from sickle cell and the children were sick all the time and looking pale and unhealthy. I must have believed if the parent had the opportunity to edit or scrap the sickness out, they would have done it. Unfortunately, those children died the remaining one. Prospective parents don't just marry because the man or woman is beautiful without considering the health factors that will sustain the lifespan of the family.

I liked the way God created us and we should be wise and ready to learn a lot of things about life and godliness. God has given us the wisdom to make the right choices that will not affect our lives.

God's plan is perfect and we are perfect already even if science wants to bring in something every parent should embrace but God's plan remain forever.
