Regrets and Lessons

The one thing that sucks about having regrets is that it makes you question every thing that you do relating to that regret, because now you want to do every other thing better, unfortunately that is when you become gullible and sometimes even fall for cheap scams, depending on what situation surrounding that regret that you have.

A while back I had written about a man who sold insect killers and how he had tried selling some to me, but due to the fact that I was very skeptical of the product he was selling, I had decided to buy only a little bit from him. It turned out the insect killer was original and the little I had bought worked like magic.

Sadly, I never saw that man after that day, I don't even know what he looks like right now, so even if I saw him today, I still wouldn't recognise him...it feels like he was an angel sent to solve my cockroach problems but my doubts had gotten in the way and I had missed him.

Ever since that happened, I've carried a little bit of regret in my mind, promising never to let something like that happen to me ever again. Unfortunately, the one problem with that promise is that it has made me a prey for vendors who sell trash products, the last one being an air freshener that I had bought.

When I first bought this air freshener, the seller had promised me that it would work like wonders, which to be honest wasn't that reassuring. So I had gotten just one from him but just as he was about to leave, the insect killer incident immediately came to my mind and I quickly called the man back and bought four more of those air fresheners.

At the end of the day, it turned out it was all trash and doesn't even work one percent of what the guy who sold it to me promised it would work. Sadly, I wouldn't have being a victim for this scam if I still didn't regret missing out on that other product that turned out to be the real deal. And from the looks of things, its either I get over that regret as soon as possible or I will keep on falling for more trash like this, unless I get lucky along the way and also buy something good too.
