Family is expected to support each other, but a family that is against your progress should loosen easily. What is the importance of having your kids close to you, when they are not happy with the position they are in.

Exactly, that's what I think too. Family should be there to help, not hold us back or anything like that, so having their support is essential. If you don't have that, you have to find other ways to achieve your dreams on your own.
