WHY PERSONAL GROWTH DOES NOT REQUIRES AN IMPERFECT WORLD

in Hive Learners28 days ago

God made the world perfect in the beginning, creating everything beautiful and perfect, and He created man in His own image. The quest of man in wanting more distorted the stability of the world's perfection. The day-to-day search of humans to satisfy their curiosity has created a void space for imperfection to grow. The quest for power has instilled greed into human existence; humans desire to be more and have more, and as such, they have conquered territories, moving from place to place in search of adventure and new territories to conquer, seeking something different and, in some cases, better. To date, a lot of African countries are still living underdeveloped as a result of the activities of their conquerors and oppressors of their freedom; some of these countries are still under the control of other countries directly or indirectly, even when they believe that they are sovereign states.

It is true that man was built to coexist; man can't live all by himself, and this seeks communal relationships. But man, who has over time become wicked and greedy, took advantage of these for his own selfish and greedy desires. They came in the disguise of religion to steal; they understood the greed of man, and they brought out this greed in the people, causing them to be wicked to sell their people out for slavery. They come in the form of aid while they steal resources behind the scheme, causing the destabilization of the long-enjoyed peace of some parts of the land.

A perfect world is possible, where there is no hunger or poverty, and the sick can receive treatment; the challenge will be the uneven distribution of wealth. People are to be educated and taught that the good of many is better than the good of the few, that the majority really matters a lot; we were built and trained to be selfish by putting us through competition. We compete in class for who comes first in the class or who has the best result in a class. Even at home, we take different lessons from our upbringing. Children try so hard to be loved by their parents, sometimes feeling as if they are competing for their parents' affection.

Personal growth as humans doesn’t come as a result of imperfection of the world, as humans, we were created with a brain that lets us think and with a mind that is curious about how things came to being, we seek knowledge in every level of our life, wanting to know what is and what is not, we tend to want to create and innovate, even in a perfect world, humans will still evolve and as such seek for personal growth and development.

Personal growth does not have to be an outcome of a broken system, our minds are created to innovate and hearts full with curiosity, even in a world without hunger and illness, having every world leader actually caring about its people, the human spirit will seek to evolve, it is in our nature to be curious and cannot be referred to as a flaw, it is only a problem when greed is involved.

Wow, this is a beautiful piece.
I love this, the way you explained so well how it is possible to have a perfect world and how that growth and such shouldn't be an outcome of a broken system.

Even though I have a different view of it, I must admit this is a beautiful piece.

Thanks for sharing.

In this supposed perfect world, life losses it's meaning. Why do I even need to put in effort to do anything when it is easily accessible. Perfection is an illusion and will ultimately lead to destruction. I don't even want to leave in a world where struggle is a fairytale. The problem is when it doesn't exist people get tired and begin to yearn for it until society either collapse or a solution is provided to rectify this problem

Like you've said, a perfect world is possible, but it most likely won't turn out to be too good.
It's bad that we struggle to get past everyday, hence the need for a perfect world. All you've said is right, but I'd disagree with humans seeking for growth in a perfect world. We have the tendency to move only when things are tough. If things were too easy, we wouldn't want to raise a finger
