Greetings!
One thing I have gotten to know so far is that, when the wicked are paying for their bad deeds, the righteous among them will also partake. I have seen people being punished for the bad deeds of their friends and their family.
Having said this, I would like to contribute my quota of the prompt which is about “Just a citizen,” in the Hive Learners community.
As for me, it's not good for the citizen of a country and their celebrities to be held accountable for the decision of their leaders and the reason being that, most of the citizens in most cases are ignorant of the decisions of the high echelon of the country who can be said to be in control of every decision taking in the country.
Furthermore, some of the decisions of these leaders are not even well with most of the citizens we are talking about here. Now why should they be at the receiving end of what decision their leaders might have taken.
However, one thing I have so far realized is that the defending country can only get to the attacking country through their innocent citizens and celebrities. If not so, why would they in the first place place the innocent citizens at the center stage of their conflicts? But one thing is that, if the defending country would not attack the citizens and the celebrities of the attacking country, they may not be able to get to the attacking country.
So, attacking the innocents citizens and celebrities is like a weapon through which a defending country can repel the attack of the attacking country and if the attacking country's leaders and governments are sensitive enough, then they should be able to defend the interest of their citizens but one thing i have so far realized is that, many of the countries that attack other countries through their harsh and decision are not so mindful of their citizens.
However, this shouldn't be the way out of settling scores or disputes as I believe these so-called citizens and celebrities are innocent when it comes to the decision making in their respective countries. So, in my own opinion, the fight should be taken directly to the leaders and the government and not the innocent citizens.
To buttress my point here, I have seen scenarios where citizens were being banned from traveling to another country just because of the rash and harsh decisions of their leaders. As if that's not enough, I have recently seen a country in the West African part of the world being tagged a CPC by the American government just because of the negligence of their leaders.
Now, in that country, the citizens are the one bearing the brunt of all these actions which should not be supposed to be. Remember that where two elephants fight the grass will always suffer for it.
In conclusion, I don't see this kind of a situation abating anytime soon, but to me, it's not the best way to go as these innocent citizens and celebrities are just ordinary citizens that have no idea of what decision making is all about.

That's just it, the leaders who orchestrated the attack should be blamed and not the citizens who knows nothing about it.
Which I believe isn’t fair at all because why should I be punished for wrongs of my relative. And it’s even worse when the person didn’t impact my life in any way.
