We all know that Wednesday is the favorite day to share our little outings in this community, but it wouldn't be so bad to share one on a Thursday, right? Anyway, it's never a bad day to go for a virtual stroll. Luckily, my last vacation with my dad left me with tons of memories in photos, and I enjoy looking at them and sharing them here. On one of our days out together, we took the opportunity to go to Villa General Belgrano in Córdoba, where we walked all day to see as many places as possible 😃.
Todos aquí sabemos que el miércoles es el día predilecto para compartir nuestros pequeños paseos en esta comunidad, pero tampoco estaría tan mal compartir uno un jueves, ¿no? De todos modos, nunca es un mal día para salir a dar una vuelta virtualmente. Por suerte, mis últimas vacaciones con mi papá me dejaron un montón de recuerdos en fotos y disfruto verlas y compartir por acá. En uno de nuestros días de paseo juntos aprovechamos para ir a Villa General Belgrano en Córdoba, en donde caminamos todo el día para ver la mayor cantidad de lugares posible 😃.
My dad and I have something in common: neither of us can stay still for long in one place. We both know that while we're on a trip together, there won't be much time for rest. In keeping with this, on our last trip together, we got up early almost every day to make the most of it. The day we went to Villa General Belgrano, we did a ton of things: I already knew the place and several of the interesting spots, but I wanted him to see them too.
Mi papá y yo tenemos algo en común y es que ninguno de los dos se puede quedar quieto mucho tiempo en el mismo lugar. Los dos sabemos que mientras estemos de paseo juntos, no habrá mucho tiempo para el descanso. Siguiendo esta línea, en nuestro último viaje juntos nos levantamos temprano casi todos los días para poder aprovechar el viaje al máximo. El día que fuimos a Villa General Belgrano hicimos un montón de cosas: yo ya conocía este lugar y varios de los puntos interesantes, pero quería que el también los viera.
That day we walked back and forth, probably about 15 km, including tours within the city, a climb to a viewpoint, and even a hike up a mountain. But it was barely afternoon, and we still had plenty of energy and daylight left, so we kept walking a little longer. Returning from the mountain toward the city center, we passed another natural spot here, the Paseo de los Arroyos (Royal Walk). As its name suggests, it's a path along the water. The rocky streams and verdant vegetation are a typical postcard of Córdoba; and a dog accompanying us on the walk is a typical postcard of my trip with my dad.
Ese día caminamos de acá para allá, probablemente unos 15 km entre recorridos dentro de la ciudad, subida a un mirador y hasta trekking a una montaña. Pero apenas era la tarde y todavía teníamos mucha energía y tiempo de luz, así que seguimos caminando un poco más. Regresando de la montaña hacia el lado del centro de la ciudad pasamos por otro punto natural acá que es el Paseo de los Arroyos. Como su nombre lo indica, es un camino al costado del agua. Los arroyos con piedras y vegetación verdosa son la típica postal de Córdoba; y un perro acompañandonos en el paseo es la típica postal de viaje con mi papá.
As in almost all Argentine provinces, afternoon siesta falls. That's why we barely ran into anyone on the street or during our walk, which was great for enjoying the space in silence and relaxation. Plus, my dad and I are pretty keen on taking photos everywhere, so having the place empty allowed us to capture selfie memories everywhere 😂.
Como en casi todas las provincias de Argentina, a la hora de la tarde se duerme la siesta. Es por eso que no nos cruzamos a casi nadie en la calle y durante nuestro paseo, lo que estuvo bien para poder disfrutar de el espacio en silencio y relajado. Además, mi papá y yo somos bastante intensos con lo de sacarnos fotos en todos lados, así que tener el lugar vacio nos permitió tener recuerdos de selfies en todas partes 😂.
The Paseo de los Arroyos can be extended as far as you like along this long river, and it's a good option to see a bit of nature without straying too far from the city. Just a few blocks away, you're back in the neighborhood, ready for a good snack or to continue walking a little further. I like Villa General Belgrano: it has the best of nature and a bit of the city in the same place.
El Paseo de los Arroyos puede extenderse tanto como quieras a lo largo de este largo río, y es una buena opción para ver un poco de naturaleza pero sin alejarse tanto de la ciudad. Con solo caminar unas cuadras ya estabas en la urbanización de nuevo, listo para una buena merienda o para seguir caminando un poco más. Me gusta Villa General Belgrano: tiene lo mejor de naturaleza y un poco de ciudad en el mismo lugar.

Going for a walk with my dad always turns out to be a great day. We both love the outdoors and seeing beautiful places. And although I've been to Villa General Belgrano three times before, each trip is different because I always make new memories. Luckily for us, the weather was also on our side, and the clouds provided the perfect backdrop for walking a long way without getting too hot. Everything was perfect, and I was glad I started the day so early 💕.
Salir de paseo con mi papá siempre resulta en un gran día. A los dos nos gusta mucho el aire libre y ver lugares hermosos. Y aunque yo ya conocía Villa General Belgrano por haber venido tres veces antes, cada paseo es diferente porque siempre generé nuevos recuerdos. Para nuestra suerte, el clima también nos acompañó y las nubes lograron el clima ideal para caminar mucho pero no sufrir calor en el intento. Todo fue perfecto y me alegré por haber empezado la jornada tan temprano 💕.

Había leído sobre Villa General Belgrano que había lugares hermosos para visitar, pero jamás pensé que abría tanto para descubrir
Conociéndote que eres una gran caminadora, y si tu papá es como vos no me sorprende que hayan visitado tantos lugares allí, el paseo de los arroyos es realmente hermoso, y algo que caracteriza a Córdoba son sus arroyos

I had read about Villa General Belgrano, which had beautiful places to visit, but I never thought there was so much to discover.
Knowing you're a great hiker, and if your dad is like you, I'm not surprised you've visited so many places there. The stream walk is truly beautiful, and one of Córdoba's defining features are its streams.
How wonderful that you had beautiful days and were able to enjoy being in that beautiful place.

Just like it's usually said, good times are even much better when shared with loved ones. You guys did have a good time taking in the view of the beautiful environ with a friendly weather and let's not forget your doggy company 😊.
