Lagos as the commercial State of the country Nigeria and the Centre of Excellence as her slogan is one of the most beautiful states not only in Nigeria, but across West Africa. In this same state there are cities all across and one of them is known as Ikoyi. This city is where is popularly known as the old money city and shockingly the city where the current president resides. Not only is the city beautiful, it is calm and less populated, unlike her neighbour like the over hyped city of Lekki, Or its nearest over populated commercial city of Victoria Island, this city is well structured and well planned.
My entry for this week's #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay is Falomo, where I will refer as the centry of the city Ikoyi. Falomo divided Ikoyi into two, to the right there is Awolowo way, while to the left there is Bourdillon Road. The difference between the two roads is very obvious as Awolowo way is more ghetto than the other part of the city Bourdillon. Mind you this division also comes with a bridge, that is to say that it is not just a landed division, but one that goes to the top.
Faolomo Under Bridge
This bridge is one of the neatest that I have been to. Unlike the rest where you have a lot of the homeless, and you get scared that you can be robbed or harmed at any point in time. This under bridge is seen as more of a relaxation centre. I can tell you this for free that even the atmosphere is not polluted. A lovely place to relax while in transit. The two said part of this Ikoyi will be shared and written about with pictorial evidences.
