Hello friends of Hive and Hive Margarita, I hope you are all well, that you enjoyed your weekend and have a great week. Today I am going to tell you a little bit about a very important place in Margarita Island and if you have not visited it, you have to visit it.

Hola amigos de Hive y Hive Margarita, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, que hayan disfrutado su fin de semana y que tengan una gran semana. Hoy paso para contarles un poco de un lugar muy importante en la isla de Margarita y que si no han visitado tienen que visitarlo.
These days I went with my wife @rlathulerie to La Asunción to a meeting of the children's school, as Miranda was leaving at 9:40 a.m. and the meeting ended at 8:00 a.m., we decided to go to the Asunción square to wait for Miranda to leave classes, being there we decided to enter the Nueva Cádiz Museum.
We visited several rooms of the museum but one of them I liked very much and it is the room of Las Perlas de Cubagua, this room is located on the second floor of the museum and you have to climb some long steep stairs.

En estos días fuí con mi esposa @rlathulerie a la Asunción a una reunión del colegio de los niños, como Miranda salía a las 9:40 a.m y la reunión terminó como a las 8:00 a.m., decidimos ir a la plaza de la Asunción a esperar que saliera Miranda de clases, estando allí decidimos entrar al Museo Nueva Cádiz.
Visitamos varias salas del museo pero una de ellas me gustó mucho y es la sala de Las Perlas de Cubagua, está sala se encuentra en el primer piso del museo y hay que subir unas largas escaleras empinadas.
Upon entering I saw that the room is very spacious and with large windows overlooking the Plaza de la Asunción and the registry. In the room we found a satellite map of the island of Cubagua and where the ruins of Nueva Cadiz, which was the first colonial city of Venezuela and South America, are located.
Also on one of the walls of the room is a large map of the time showing the different voyages made by Christopher Columbus, there are several banners describing the third voyage that Christopher Columbus made to Cubagua and another of when the city of Nueva Cadiz was built.

Al entrar ví que la sala es muy amplia y con grandes ventanales que dan hacia la plaza de la Asunción y al registro. En la sala encontramos un mapa satelital de la isla de Cubagua y dónde se encuentra las ruinas de Nueva Cádiz, que fué la primera ciudad colonial de Venezuela y Suraméricana.
También se encuentra en unas de las paredes de la sala un gran plano de la época donde muestra los diferentes viajes que realizó Cristóbal Colón, hay varios pendones dónde describe el tercer viaje que realizó Cristóbal Colón hasta llegar a Cubagua y otro de cuando fue construida la Ciudad de Nueva Cádiz.
There are also several counters displaying samples of objects found from that era, as well as pearls, shells of different species and photographs. On one side of the room is the Coat of Arms of Charles V and a poster with several coats of arms of the time.
Finally there are several photographs taken during the expedition to the ruins of the City of Nueva Cadiz and some samples such as a column and other objects.

Acá también hay varios mostradores donde exhiben muestras de los objetos encontrados de esa epoca, además de perlas, conchas de distintas especies y fotográficas. En un lado de la sala está el Escudo de Armas de Carlos V y un cartel con varios escudos de armas de la época.
Por último hay varias fotografías que se realizaron durante la expedicion a las ruinas de la Ciudad de Nueva Cádiz y algunas muestras como una columna y otros objetos.

Qué bonito ese recorrido por el Museo Nueva Cádiz. La sala de las perlas de Cubagua tiene una vista preciosa hacia la plaza de la Asunción y todo lo que muestran los mapas, las conchas, las perlas, los objetos antiguos y las fotos de las ruinas, cuenta una historia que emociona.
