Hola querida comunidad de C/OnChainArt, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una de mis obras más recientes: un retrato pintado a partir de una fotografía. Desde siempre me ha fascinado la capacidad del arte para capturar la esencia de una persona más allá de lo visible. En esta pieza busqué reflejar no solo los rasgos del rostro, sino también la emoción y la energía que transmite la mirada.
Utilicé la técnica de oleo sobre lienzo, un medio que me permite trabajar con capas suaves y lograr contrastes vibrantes. Primero realicé un boceto a lápiz tomando como referencia la fotografía, cuidando las proporciones y la expresión. Luego empecé a aplicar las primeras capas de color, jugando con luces y sombras para dar volumen y vida al rostro.
Lo que más me inspiró de esta obra fue la expresión serena y reflexiva del modelo. A través del color quise transmitir calma, introspección y un toque de melancolía. Pintar retratos me conecta profundamente con el alma humana; cada pincelada se convierte en una forma de diálogo silencioso entre el artista y el sujeto
Hello dear C/OnChainArt community, today I want to share with you one of my most recent works: a portrait painted from a photograph. I have always been fascinated by the ability of art to capture the essence of a person beyond what is visible. In this piece, I sought to reflect not only the facial features but also the emotion and energy conveyed through the gaze.
I used the oil on canvas technique, a medium that allows me to work with soft layers and achieve vibrant contrasts. I first made a pencil sketch based on the photograph, carefully observing proportions and expression. Then I began applying the first layers of color, playing with light and shadow to give depth and life to the face.
What inspired me most about this work was the serene and thoughtful expression of the model. Through color, I wanted to convey calmness, introspection, and a touch of melancholy. Painting portraits connects me deeply with the human soul; each brushstroke becomes a silent dialogue between the artist and the subject.
