Even though my left knee is not feeling very well due to osteoarthritis, I took the bus to Jozenji Street this morning and had an iced cafe latte at Veloce. It's been a while since I had an iced cafe latte! For me, a cafe is not just a place to drink a cup of coffee, but a place to relax. Drinking an iced cafe latte, feeling the atmosphere of the cafe, listening to the music playing... I remember that it was historically a gathering place for artists.
I live in Sendai, and my favorite place in Sendai is Jozenji Street.
This is Jozenji Street, where a church and a fashionable building are lined up.
I had an iced cafe latte at Veloce.
However, perhaps due to rising prices, the price of the morning set has been gradually increasing. It used to be in the 400 yen range, but it's 500 yen, 520 yen, and now 540 yen.
There's no place left in Hachiman where I can relax with a cup of coffee. It reminds me of a middle-aged man who used to take the bus all the way from Kaigamori to get there when there was a Doutor in Hachiman.

左膝が変形性膝関節症であまり調子が良くないにもかかわらず、何を思ったのか、今朝はバスに乗って定禅寺通りに行き、ベローチェでアイスカフェラテを飲みました。ひさしぶりのアイスカフェラテ！私にとってカフェは単なる飲み物を飲む場所ではなく、癒しです。アイスカフェラテを飲んで、カフェの雰囲気を感じて、流れる音楽を聞いて・・・。歴史的にも芸術家のたまり場だったことを思い出します。
私は仙台に住んでいますが、仙台で1番好きな場所が定禅寺通りです。
これは教会とお洒落ビルが並んでいる辺りの定禅寺通り。
ベローチェで飲んだアイスカフェラテ。
しかし、物価高騰のせいかモーニングセットの値段がじわじわ上がっています。前は400円台だったのが500円になり、520円、今は540円。
八幡では飲み物一杯でくつろげる場所がなくなってしまったので。八幡にドトールがあった頃、貝ヶ森からわざわざバスで通っていた中年の男性を思い出します。
