Abrasoles amigos amantes del anime ^~^
Me encontraba viendo, una vez más, un anime que me gusta mucho, sin embargo en esta ocasión decidí mirarlo con más atención a sus detalles.
Les hablo del anime “Marmalade Boy” La familia crece, creación de la mangaka Wataru Yoshizumi. El manga comenzó a publicarse en revistas “Ribon” entre los años 1995-1997 donde se logró vender más de diez millones de copias. Su éxito fue tanto que inspiró a que crearán la serie, la cual se emitió en el año 1994 estrenándose en la televisión japonesa.
El anime “Marmalade Boy” La familia crece, cuenta con 76 capítulos además de un ova qué es la que daría pie a entender cómo se propicia la historia. Marmalade Boy cuenta con tan solo una temporada y su estilo “shojo” se deja ver notoriamente.
Un estilo muchas veces atribuido solo a espectadoras femeninas, sin embargo es un género que también agrada mucho a los espectadores masculinos (aunque a veces no lo confiesen).
La trama
Esta gira en torno a sus personajes principales. Yuu Matsura, un chico alto, rubio y bien parecido, quien por fuera parece el chico ideal, por dentro guarda problemas que siente no puede expresar o compartir, esto genera que se vea de carácter seco cuando su real esencia es completamente distinta.
Por otro lado, Miki Koishikawa, es una chica completamente distinta, de cabello rojizo y de carácter dulce y jovial. Ella no teme decir lo que siente y sus emociones están muy a flor de piel.
Si lo vemos, ambos son polos opuestos, pero del mismo modo estos polos se atraen al igual que en esta serie.
Cada uno viviendo en sus respectivas familias, se unen gracias a sus padres. Ambas parejas en plan de divorcio, deciden contraer nupcias con sus antiguos amores y es ahí que tanto padre y madre de ambos chicos se casan , es decir, el padre de Yuu se casa con la madre de Miki y viceversa, el padre de Miki se casa con la madre de Yuu. Lo cual provoca un caos en sus vidas.
Ambas parejas en “pro” de sus hijos, deciden vivir todos juntos y así no separarse de sus hijos y estar al pendiente. Cosa que causa algunos conflictos entre ambos, sobre todo en su vida escolar ya que son mirados de manera extraña por este suceso.
En medio de esto vemos como nuevos personajes van apareciendo y de mismo modo sus propias historias, las cuales se entrelazan a las de sus protagonistas.
En este anime podemos ver diversos conflictos, los cuales al ver en una primera ocasión uno quizás no logre percatarse, pero al verla más de una vez hace que uno lo analice.
Por ejemplo:
Encontramos en primer conflicto, la separación y posterior matrimonio entre los padres podría ser algo normal, pero, la convivencia en conjunto pasa a ser “anormal” ya que los roles al ser compartidos tienden a tergiversarse o desligarse, más aún ya que al ser sus hijos adolescentes, sus padres tienden a salir y dejarlos solos.
En segundo lugar, podemos ver el carácter machista de Yuu, tiende a minimizar las emociones de Miki, la considera infantil, aún sabiendo que él la ama, es ahí que su inseguridad sale a flote en conjunto a sus celos.
Una vez, ambos se confiesan y mantienen un amor en secreto, Yuu no cambia mucho ya que no confía en Miki para decir sus problemas.
Por otro lado, al salir nuevos personajes que sienten algo por él, este no pone un freno o límite y permite las actitudes haciendo sentir mal a su novia, además prioriza emociones de amigas a las de su propia novia.
No obstante, Miki, refleja una gran inseguridad lo cual genera que se culpe de la mayor parte de cosas que suceden en la relación, ella idealiza en sobre manera a Yuu y en ocasiones se puede ver su dependencia hacia él.
Por otro lado, recibe críticas por parte de Yuu, por ejemplo, acusandola de coqueta cuando solamente se comporta de forma amistosa con sus amigos o compañeros de trabajo.
Esto refleja la inseguridad de Yuu quien prefiere culpar a entender que está en un claro problema emocional.
Además, podemos ver el conflicto que vive Meiko, mejor amiga de Miki. Esta chica proveniente de buena familia, mantiene una relación clandestina con su profesor, el señor Namura, aquí podemos ver un tema bastante delicado.
En algunos episodios se puede ver como el profesor Namura lucha con sus emociones alejándose de ella, sin embargo la propia Meiko lo persigue. Nuevamente vemos una relación de dependencia la cual proviene de un abandono familiar.
Meiko, prácticamente vive sola con su servidumbre, mientras sus padres no se preocupan de ella.
Otros personajes que podemos encontrar con un claro reflejo de egocentrismo serían: la modelo Suzu Sakuma, quien está ciegamente enamorada de Yuu y Tsutumu Rokutanda, ex compañero de Yuu y fiel enamorado de Arimi, quien fuera la primera novia de Yuu. En esta categoría, también podríamos poner a Jinny, compañera de Yuu en Estados Unidos, quien también se enamorara de él creando artimañas para separar a Yuu y Mikki.
Entre esta lista de personajes, creo que podríamos sacar a estos dos personajes, los cuales serían: Arimi y Ginta. Arimi siendo la primera novia de Yuu, entendió al final el fin de su relación sin volverse tóxica, por el otro lado, Ginta, quien fuera el primer interés amoroso de Mikki, también comprende que él no es el escogido. Ambos, Arimi y Ginta, empiezan una relación que a mi modo de ver es la más sana de la serie.
En otra vereda, siendo quizás un poco más infantiles y caprichosos encontramos a Michael, alumno de intercambio, quien vive en casa de los Koishikawa y además está enamorado de Mikki y también Keik Tsuchiya, pianista reconocido y también enamorado de Mikki.
Al terminar ella su relación, Ambos entran en una infantil competencia buscando su corazón, sin embargo Kei comprende que esta competencia no llegará a ningún sitio.
Si seguimos analizando a cada personaje nos daría para ir al psicólogo 😂 y quién sabe qué diagnóstico nos daría.
Ya finalizando la trama, podemos ver que la pareja, pese a todo continuar junta, sin embargo viejos secretos salen a luz haciendo pensar a Yuu qué ambos (Yuu y Miki) son hermanos, sin embargo no pueden alejarse y deciden vivir su amor de todos modos, una cosa que sería ilógica por obvias razones.
Por otro lado, este secreto es falso y podemos ver que la desconfianza de Yuu hacía sus padres y no consultar aquella duda en un comienzo provocó grandes problemas y por otro lado ver que ambos tomaban esa decisión deja una extraño reflejo del concepto amor.
Marmalade Boy, la familia crece, aunque es un buen anime, su trama es bastante extraña, con temas delicados y personalidades extrañas, muchas que no nos gustaría conocer.
Esta es mi opinión personal y no busca interferir en la de terceros.

I'm talking about the anime "Marmalade Boy" The Family Grows, created by mangaka Wataru Yoshizumi. The manga began to be published in Ribon magazines between 1995 and 1997, selling over ten million copies. Its success was such that it inspired the creation of the series, which was broadcast in 1994, premiering on Japanese television.
The anime "Marmalade Boy: The Family Grows" has 76 episodes, as well as an OVA that gives insight into how the story unfolds. Marmalade Boy has only one season, and its "shojo" style is clearly evident.
This style is often attributed only to female viewers, but it is a genre that is also very popular with male viewers (although they may not admit it).
The plot
This revolves around its main characters. Yuu Matsura, a tall, blond, and handsome boy, who on the outside seems like the ideal guy, but on the inside has problems that he feels he cannot express or share, which makes him seem dry when his real essence is completely different.
On the other hand, Miki Koishikawa is a completely different girl, with reddish hair and a sweet and cheerful personality. She is not afraid to say what she feels, and her emotions are very close to the surface.
If we look at it, they are polar opposites, but in the same way, these opposites attract, just like in this series.
Each living with their respective families, they are brought together by their parents. Both couples, who are planning to divorce, decide to marry their former loves, and that is when both the father and mother of the two boys get married, that is, Yuu's father marries Miki's mother and vice versa, Miki's father marries Yuu's mother. This causes chaos in their lives.
Both couples, for the sake of their children, decide to live together so they can stay close to their children and keep an eye on them. This causes some conflicts between them, especially in their school life, as they are viewed strangely because of this event.
In the midst of this, we see new characters appear and their own stories unfold, which become intertwined with those of the main characters.
In this anime, we see various conflicts, which may not be apparent at first glance, but upon repeated viewing, cause us to analyze them.
For example:
We find in the first conflict that the separation and subsequent marriage between the parents could be something normal, but living together becomes "abnormal" since the roles, being shared, tend to be distorted or disconnected, even more so since their children are teenagers and their parents tend to go out and leave them alone.
Secondly, we can see Yuu's macho character. He tends to minimize Miki's emotions and considers her childish, even though he knows he loves her. This is where his insecurity comes to the surface, along with his jealousy.
Once, they both confess their feelings and keep their love a secret, but Yuu does not change much because he does not trust Miki enough to tell her about his problems.
On the other hand, when new characters who have feelings for him appear, he does not put a stop to it or set limits, allowing attitudes that make his girlfriend feel bad. He also prioritizes the emotions of his female friends over those of his own girlfriend.
However, Miki reflects a great deal of insecurity, which causes her to blame herself for most of the things that happen in the relationship. She idealizes Yuu excessively, and at times her dependence on him is evident.
On the other hand, she receives criticism from Yuu, for example, accusing her of being flirtatious when she is only behaving in a friendly manner toward her friends or coworkers.
This reflects Yuu's insecurity, who prefers to blame her rather than understand that he is clearly in emotional turmoil.
In addition, we can see the conflict experienced by Meiko, Miki's best friend. This girl, who comes from a good family, has a secret relationship with her teacher, Mr. Namura, which is a rather delicate issue.
In some episodes, we can see how Mr. Namura struggles with his emotions and distances himself from her, but Meiko pursues him. Once again, we see a relationship of dependency that stems from family abandonment.
Meiko practically lives alone with her servants, while her parents do not care about her.
Other characters who clearly reflect egocentrism include model Suzu Sakuma, who is blindly in love with Yuu, and Tsutumu Rokutanda, Yuu's former classmate and loyal lover of Arimi, who was Yuu's first girlfriend. In this category, we could also include Jinny, Yuu's classmate in the United States, who also falls in love with him and devises schemes to separate Yuu and Mikki.
From this list of characters, I think we could remove two characters: Arimi and Ginta. Arimi, being Yuu's first girlfriend, finally understood the end of their relationship without becoming toxic. On the other hand, Ginta, who was Mikki's first love interest, also understands that he is not the chosen one. Both Arimi and Ginta begin a relationship that, in my opinion, is the healthiest in the series.
On the other hand, perhaps a little more childish and capricious, we find Michael, an exchange student who lives with the Koishikawas and is also in love with Mikki, and Keik Tsuchiya, a renowned pianist who is also in love with Mikki.
When she ends her relationship, both enter into a childish competition for her heart, but Kei understands that this competition will lead nowhere.
If we continue analyzing each character, we would need to go to a psychologist 😂 and who knows what diagnosis they would give us.
As the plot comes to an end, we see that the couple, despite everything, remain together. However, old secrets come to light, leading Yuu to believe that they (Yuu and Miki) are siblings. Nevertheless, they cannot stay away from each other and decide to live out their love anyway, something that would be illogical for obvious reasons.
On the other hand, this secret is false, and we can see that Yuu's distrust of his parents and his failure to consult them about his doubts at the beginning caused major problems. Furthermore, seeing that both of them made that decision leaves a strange reflection of the concept of love.
Marmalade Boy, the family grows, although it is a good anime, its plot is quite strange, with delicate themes and strange personalities, many of which we would not like to know.
This is my personal opinion and does not seek to interfere with that of others.

No vi el anime, pero si lei el manga y me parecio muy bonito, mas alla de las personalidades toxicas que tenian que por cierto le dieron algo de humor a la historia porque ambos personajes me parecieron muy tiernos y locos, tipico de adolescentes jaja 😂 es una bonita historia para disfrutar a cualquier edad y comprenderlo desde diferentes perspectivas ❤️
Así es, pero con temas algo sensibles a tratar, como el amor de Meiko y su profesor.
Si la trama fuera hoy en día con remake estarían aún más exsaserbados con bloqueos en redes sociales o discutiendo por los likes que les dieron o por a quienes siguieron 😂 😂

A pesar de que esta serie tiene muchos años desde su emisión no la conocía o al menos no la recuerdo. Sin embargo se puede apreciar profundidad en sus personajes y en la trama en general, según lo que comentas.

La he visto ya varias veces, tiene momentos cómicos y de tensión, pero al final uno sin darse cuenta la termina analizando, quizás de adolescentes solo nos divirtió pero ya se adultos podemos entender mejor ciertos temas.
