A few days ago, I completed the illustrations for a children’s book, and all of them were entirely hand-painted using watercolor. I often work on children’s book illustrations, and I truly enjoy the process of bringing stories to life through colors and brushstrokes. After the rise of AI-generated art, I’ve found even more joy and satisfaction in creating traditional watercolor paintings. There’s a warmth and authenticity in hand-painted work that digital illustrations simply can’t replace.
