Hello friends, I hope you are doing well. For today's prompt, Starfish, I wanted to capture the vitality and the unique texture of these sea creatures.
In this drawing, my goal was to bring a common starfish to life, but with a dynamic touch. I represented it emerging from the water, creating a splash effect and a sense of movement. The drops and ripples around its arms not only add realism, but also emphasize its movement, as if it had just gained consciousness and was standing up on its "feet."
I focused on detailing the star's surface, with its small protuberances and the grainy texture that makes them so distinctive. The shadows and gray tones help give it volume and make it pop off the paper.

Hola amigos, espero esten bien. Para el prompt de hoy, Starfish, quise capturar la vitalidad y la textura única de estas criaturas marinas.
En este dibujo, mi objetivo fue dar vida a una estrella de mar común, pero con un toque dinámico. La representé emergiendo del agua, creando un efecto de salpicadura y movimiento. Las gotas y ondas alrededor de sus brazos no solo añaden realismo, sino que también enfatizan su movimiento, como si acabara de cobrar consciencia y se estuviera parando sobre sus "pies"
Me esforcé por detallar la superficie de la estrella, con sus pequeñas protuberancias y la textura granulada que las hace tan distintivas. Las sombras y los tonos de gris ayudan a darle volumen y hacerla saltar del papel.
