Attention, fellow artists of the Hive community! The time has come to transcend our creativity and NFTs to an exhibition hall at the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA). This marks a milestone that signals the official entry of Hive crypto art into Venezuela's cultural landscape and would be the first time an NFT exhibition has been held at the Museum of Fine Arts.
The Opportunity You've Been Waiting For: An Epic Contest.
Thanks to the collaboration between the MBA and our community, we are launching a contest that will select five Hive artists who will have the honor of exhibiting their Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) alongside emerging and established talents. Imagine your digital artwork, certified on Hive through @nftshowroom, displayed in the museum's galleries. This is more than a prize; it is recognition of the artistic avant-garde that we promote in the Web 3 ecosystem.
What makes this event so special?
Your digital artwork will not only be seen by the Hive community, but will also be part of a curated collection that includes:
- 5 artists from the Hive community (you could be one of them!).
- 5 Students from the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA).
- 5 Students from the Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE).
- Acclaimed Teachers: An unprecedented generational and technological dialogue.
This exhibition bridges tradition and technology. It proves that NFT art, powered by Hive's Web3, has undeniable cultural value.

The Digital Ecosystem and Identity in Contemporary Venezuela
“THE MIND AND THE BODY: HUMAN AND VIRTUAL FRAGMENTS” is a conceptual encounter that places Venezuelan human beings at the crossroads between the tangible reality of everyday life and the digital identity constructed in cyberspace. The exhibition, organized by the Hive community and the Museum of Fine Arts (MBA), uses Non-Fungible Token (NFT) technology as the perfect mechanism to explore this duality.
NFTs as Evidence of Fragmentation:
In an era of social change, diaspora, and hyperconnectivity define the human experience. Both in Venezuela and globally, the body and mind have become fragmented. The NFT (Non-Fungible Token) acts here as an immutable and verified “virtual fragment” on the blockchain.
A Historical and Technological Dialogue in the MBA.
By hosting this exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, a temple of Venezuelan tradition and cultural history, a deliberate tension is created that enriches the concept.
Human Fragment (Tradition):
Represented by the physical works and institutional presence of the MBA and UNEARTE, which anchor the exhibition in formal art education.
Virtual Fragment (Avant-garde): Embodied by works minted on Hive, which challenge the concept of collectability, authorship, and exhibition by eliminating the need for a physical medium and replacing it with a blockchain certificate.
The jury that will select the works will be a curator assigned by the Museum of Fine Arts.
“Make sure the file to be minted is in PNG, JPG, GIF, or MP4 format and does not exceed 50 MB (you can participate with a GIF or short video). We recommend resolutions exceeding 2000 pixels on the longest side to ensure the visual quality of the digital artwork on any device.”
Rules:
- 1 ) To participate in this contest, you must have an account on the Hive Blockchain and be verified by @nftshowroom as an artist.
- 2 ) You must publish your entry post in the Fine Arts or Alien Art communities, showing the creative process (minimum 5 photos).
- 3 ) Tell us how your creation relates to the concept of the exhibition “The Mind and the Body.”
- 4 ) Post your entry in the comments section of this publication.
- 5 ) Tag @rutablockchain, @mba.ccs, and @guarenases in the post.
- 6 ) The artwork must be submitted in vertical format, measuring 1920 x 1080 with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Unlike established artists, whose work will be printed in a vertical format, the measurements must be 1089 x 1920.
- 7 ) Entries will be accepted until November 7.
