A new way to recognize strength and commitment on Hive
We’re excited to unveil a new badge series developed by the Peak Open team:
The Power Guardian Collection, a tribute to those who stay powered up and help strengthen the Hive network.
These digital badges are automatically awarded to accounts who have never powered down HIVE based on their staked Hive Power (HP).
Each badge symbolizes a tier of commitment and resilience, styled in a unified modern-fantasy visual theme.
While it may not be for everyone There is a certain segment of the Hive community that takes pride in having never powered down their Hive Power. This new badge series is designed to celebrate their commitment and resilience. We recognize that powering down is a personal choice and an important part of Hive’s flexibility, so this badge is simply a way to honor those who have chosen to stay powered up continuously without implying any judgment on those who power down from time to time.
The 4 Power Guardians Badges
| 🔹 Initiate 500 – 2,000 HP The beginning of power. Bold and glowing, this badge symbolizes your first step into deeper Hive engagement.  | 🔹 Keeper 2,000 – 5,000 HP A guardian of growing strength. Marked by control, responsibility, and a firm stance, the Keeper maintains and protects their stake.  |

| 🔹 Sentinel 5,000 – 10,000 HP Always vigilant, the Sentinel watches over the network with strength and awareness. A symbol of steady power and presence.  | 🔹 Warden 10,000+ HP The ultimate defender. Ancient, unyielding, and steadfast, the Warden badge marks those with massive HP and unwavering loyalty to Hive.  |
These badges are granted to accounts with the listed HP levels who have not initiated a power down.
If you qualify, you should already have your badge!

I think this is great, I don't know if I got it.. but if I didn't I would comment that we should only count the timeframe of Hive forward. Many of us powered down when it was Steem coming over to Hive but since on Hive, have not powered down!
Edit: I did get it, so I'm stoked about that! :D
Oh yeah! I LOVE Badges, I've been obsessed with getting them recently and this just happened to come along.
I already have the first badge, now we go for the second. 🛡️

Cool idea. I just got the initiate badge and it's a nice extra feature. Hopefully it won't be long before I reach the "keeper" level.

I guess I won't get it :) I don't hold it against people if they need to power down. Many really need the money and others may want to treat themselves after putting a lot into Hive. I got a nice guitar from it.
Anyway, congrats to those who earned the badge.
Yes, totally. Nothing wrong with powering down in my opinion.
This is just a nice little perk for people who never did it.
We need the holders to spread the Hive voting. I've not had to power down in a while and have some HP targets. We just need more people to make that investment buy actually buying $HIVE :)

This is great to recognise those who hold so much faith in Hive. Just out of interest, does the badge holder lose their badge if they powder down, and how can we see who has the badge so we can give them more support?

Hello , i always use your fine editor do write my posts , and since a week or so the cursor behaviour has changed . This makes me mad , ich always write in places i thought i´ve clicked away from .
This is so different than before , it is annoing always to control where the cursor is placed , click twice to be sure writing in the right spot .
Something was changed with cursor behaviour , please change back .

Are you using markdown editor or the new editor?
This happens when are you normally writing or when you switch or minimize a tab? I mean what actions lead to this behavior?
Any insight can be really helpful.

Thank You for listening , firstly something really changed with cursor behaviour .
I use desktop , brave browser , and i leave the tab sometimes and return to it , and before the change I cound click on the page an would land the writing cursor at the position i clicked on .
Now the cursor always stays at its last position , observing this , it feels like as if it was torn back there , jumping back to the last position.
This also happens if I click to the right , scolling the visual of the editor an clicking back into the type-editor.
Another example : E.g if I select parts of the text and then go down putting some tags in , before the selection disappears , now the typing window tries to manipulate the range of the selection .
It is very difficult for me to change my behaviour to this new cursor behaviour and am having always and again e.g. pasted images or links at places where they do not belong , where I acted before , this means total all time doublecheck , ..... .

I have to correct , a use of the visual right part does not make this effect , I meant when i use the broser-search it is the same as leaving the tab .
But writing this comment I can state , in here the new effect doesnt appear , the cursor jumps to the position I click on by returning from another window.
This is nice how can one clami it cause have never power down my hp i fall in the first category
It's assigned automatically, so you should already have it in your badges.
