As we began our journey to Darma Valley, we could feel the impact of the weather. Strong winds, snow-covered peaks, and the sun playing hide-and-seek with the clouds transported our minds to a completely different world. As we progressed, the layer of snow became thicker. The branches of the trees were bent under the weight of the snow, the small villages seemed almost to disappear, and a profound silence enveloped everything.

In winter, Darma Valley becomes almost deserted. Most people move to lower altitudes, so the presence of nature is felt more strongly than that of humans. While we were there, we didn't see another human being for hours. Only the sound of our footsteps, the soft crunching of the snow, and the whistling of the cold wind could be heard. This silence wasn't frightening; instead, it filled the mind with a strange sense of peace.

The nights were the most challenging. The cold was intense, and the sky was perfectly clear. Looking at the star-filled sky, it felt as if the entire universe was spread out before us. Sitting by the fire, sipping hot tea, and talking in that cold night was the most memorable moment of our trip.

The trekking wasn't easy. Slippery paths, frozen water, and the biting cold tested us at every step. Yet, when the morning sun's rays fell upon the snow and the entire valley glowed in golden light, all fatigue instantly vanished. The winter in Darma Valley taught us that connecting with nature isn't easy, but once you do, every moment becomes precious. This trip wasn't just about sightseeing; it was an experience of self-discovery and understanding true peace. The crisp air, the snow-capped mountains, and the tranquility of Darma Valley still linger in our hearts.
